is there any way eiji’s slow projectile DM can cross-up?

On the Jyazu shit, you can actually tack on DP lk after you do the vortex thing if you’re within range. Then you can do something else.

Just some filler or something to build a extra piece of meter.

I have trying to do some of the stuff in these Japanese vids but some tings don’t seem to work. I have the American version on Arcade Mode. Are there any differences between the Japanese Arcade ver. and the American Arcade ver.?

Dunno if there are any differences, but I know for sure the Vanessa Hellion inf works on the NTSC-U version.

that works anywhere on screen… but its better to always do s.A instead… cause u get more time to input the LDM afterwards…

Im glad to see theres still intrest for this game. I just wish more players lived closer. I need more sparring partners

same here… i just got 1 person to vs. against… and very rarely 2-3 more might join us…

btw y can’t i land duck’s LDM off of his rush super… tried doing it fast/slow during the last part and nothing…

This was discussed a couple of pages ago. It says DC on the rush super but it’s an error. IIRC DC from that might work if you are in Arrange Mode.

oh ok… thats kind of stupid i guess… anyways having duck as leader is really pointless… so it doesnt matter anyway i guess… he really doesnt need it… been playing him seriously for a bit now… and currently he is my favourite XI character… just soo much fun to mess around with the opponent’s head and he has soo many ways…

i’ve noticed something… IF Eiji connects his dp+P move and the opponent tech rolls regularly then he can run right after he performs the move… and depending on when u stop running he will end up on either side of the opponent… this sometimes ends up being soo ambiguous that i can’t tell which side i’m gonna end up on… thankfully his s.D stays out long enough for me to hit confirm the right side… this setup however don’t seem to be working on all of the cast… i’ve tested the setup against the whole cast and only against these characters it works… but it’s pretty messed up cause u can just keep doing it over and over if ur opponent fails to block the right way… the characters it works on r as follows…

ozwald, k’, kula, b. janet, tizoc, shingo, eiji, mary, clark, ralf, whip, ryo, king, benimaru, athena, hayate, silver, jazu…

Any high level Adelheid play?

i remember seeing a few… imo he isnt that good without meter… reason being him having no real anti-air besides his DM… and i beat him clean out of it with clark’s jump E at times… he does have very easy hit confirming tools and can make his strings safe on block / knockdown on hit… plus his god press shenanigans can get annoying at times… and also if u r gonna have him in ur team then have him as Leader… if u can react to hops and LDM on reaction he is a scary good leader… the LDM has like no start up time… and he goes through absolutely anything… even kula’s LDM and catches her… lol…

My friend Tone! runs Adelheid…and I would have to agree with the guy above me. with meter he’s a pain in the ass to fight. That leader takes away a shit load of your opponents offensive options and does really good damage. The kick super is tricky as well…and allof his hit confirms are easy to do…aside from the damage he takes…if your smart, you could run him first. His rush down its pretty good. his cr. b is great for catching tech rolls and its easy to hit confirm it into a knock down…you have no real anti -air without meter except for standing E…and i think air to air jumping E is your best bet…but like it was already mentioned, your best bet if you were to run him would be to run him as leader.

Possibly dumb question: What is the purpose of Shingo’s qcb+P command roll? I can’t find any significant difference from a normal roll.

I just got this the other day (that’s how I roll with fighting games; wait until everyone else is done playing, then suddenly take notice and become interested) and it’s hella fun. Tag system is awesome, and there’s a shit ton of fun characters. And every new character I unlock is even more awesome than the last.

It counts as a special move, which means it can be cancelled into for free by cancellable normals. Canceling a normal into a regular roll takes a bar of meter.
Granted, it’s still not very useful, but it’s something.

It’s actually a pretty cool idea, even if it isn’t that great. I’ve been having some fun with it.

Could I get a basic rundown of Robert? I’ve always found Robert a pretty neat character, and I think I’ve fallen in love with this version. But for every bit that I love his moves, I can’t seem to get used to the combination of things he has. I just end up playing him like an awkward Guile, or a weird, shoto-y Kim, neither of which works for very long. Also, how’s his LDM? Seems pretty good, but the range on it may be too limited.

Glad to see that XI still getting some love. Is KOF XIII gonna be tag style? (Prob not).

If not, I think SNK is really missing out. If KOF XI were marketed better it could have caught on like wild fire

Can someone link me to some info on Terry, K’, and Shen Woo… Like info detailing their normals, situational stuff, combos, or whatever?

I mess around with the game from time to time, but I really want to become decent, but need a little guidance.
