for some reason, i dont want this game anymore. i was truly hoping for some extra characters in the game and maybe some new boards, to make me really wanna play this game. but now that they are breaking this shit in to the fullest for the dvd, and it seems like the only people who are gonna pay attention to this game are us in the usa, which will still only be a few, because it wont be at evo. whats the point in even learning the game anymore?
there is no fun in breaking in a game that is already broken in to probably its maximum by the time it drops for ps2.
me biggest joy was playing my favorite characters and a few new ones, and being able to…eh, fuck it. whatever. ill probably still cop it because im a fan of the series and what not. i still wanna play i guess. im just dissapointed:sad:
I still prefer to be a bit more positive. There’s gotta be SOME incentive to go through all those “Dramatic Re-enactment” Missions and Survival Mode, otherwise ASW (or some one else Sega could’ve trusted to do the port job) could’ve have just given us a straight port of the arcade version with no frills whatsoever.
Besides, when GGX1.5/+ came out, did we know right off the bat that they included Kliff, Justice and “somewhat-drunk/Robo-Ky” as an EX for KY as the final batch of characters you could unlock? Some how, I doubt it. Why they would choose to keep the lid on such a thing is beyond me, but I guess they want to try and sell the product for what they know will definitely sell (an arcade port with additions), and just let us find out the actual extras for ourselves.
I think the same thing has a possibility for occuring here. Especially if a sequel to this game may be a lil while longer in coming, and we could use something to help tide us over for a while.

story mode seems pretty cool. I wonder if it’ll include cutscenes during moves or something like it does in the commercial…
Damn.Just wish their were more characters.They definetly could have put more characters in the game if they had Mr.Heart in the game.Mr fucking Heart,who was only in two episodes EARLY in the series.
…Your point? When you go by the manga, there’s a lot of characters who could also stand to be in this game, but didn’t last all that long either. You wanted a “2 bit thug” who actually lasted for several chapters? Jackal’s your man.
But any way, I repeat, I think it would be just best to sit patiently, and wait. Again, I have a hard time believing that ASW would go through the trouble of creating two play-modes that most normal and hardcore players wouldn’t even bother wasting their time playing around with (Survival and “Dramatic Re-enactment”), if there wasn’t SOME incentive to complete them. They could’ve just saved themselves some trouble, and gave us a much more “bare bones” port if the case was otherwise…
Maybe a full-fledged “Arranged” mode may or may not be in the cards, but there’s nothing that says that they couldn’t just throw in 1-3 more extra unlockable characters to try and keep things fresh.

Anyway,I think Devil’s Reverse would have been just as good as.Mr.Heart if that were the case.The dude that fought by using the wind,would have been good.They could have even put the Toki impersonator in the game.

I’d much rather see the other Nanto Stars. Why Mr. Heart was chosen over Fudo is a sad, sad thing.
