new and awesome trailer. Though it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to watch it . Hopefully it’ll be availible for download somewhere.

so, um, how did you figure out how to play it? I clicked the first link, and it took me to the movie page, but it wouldn’t load the movie at all.

you can right click the movie player an extract the movie address

copy and paste it into your media player (MPC or VLC seem to work). However even then I get crap skippage and random crashes. I woudln’t normally ask this but I really hope it gets youtube’d because the announcers voice is so nuts it makes me even more hyped for the game. it explains and shows clips from the dvd and has a mini feature on the voice actors aswell… i reall, really want to watch it properly! Can someone help?

I’ll be down for Evo again, except this time we won’t have to deal with my shitty last minute modded sticks.

I can’t wait until this game comes out.I love the series. One of the few series that I can honestly say didn’t have a wimpy ass main chracter that was afraid of killing, and didn’t have pussy ass villains that were all flash and no substance.

New combos for Juda and Mamiya…

I should rephrase that.Kenshiro doesn’t have a problem killing Middle men,and street thugs. As a matter of fact, the middle men and street thugs feel Kenshiro’s wrath the most.He showed some compassion to the big bad guys even though they ended up dieing anyways.

Well, I think that much should be expected. There was one thing that some one posted over at the HeartofMadness forum’s that I agreed with…“Who is a bigger fool, the one fool himself, or the ones who follow him mindlessly, when they more than likely has a choice to follow him or not”? In that light, even Jagi and Amoeba were not immune to those clauses, as they were only allowed to run amok thanks to the likes of Ken-oh running around and letting bastards like him do whatever the hell they want, and they willingly did some magnificently evil things.

People like Shin, Juda, Souther and Raoh were more or less confused/blind men leading the blind, so while they’re not completely inexcusable, it makes them a bit more sympathetic, and they still got theirs in the end, any way. All they really needed was perhaps to get a good hug, some counseling, to get laid and maybe give them their own LiveJournal web pages, and they probably would have turned out much better than they did.

I read that quote on the HoM forums. The guy said it was a quote from Star Wars.Anyway you are right.More or less the big bad guys just were confused. The middle men were being asses just to be asses, and of course the street thugs directly probably caused the most pain to the people since they were always the one’s assaulting, killing, raping, etc…

Juda kinda was a middle-man. He joined Raoh’s amry.(And fucked up the Nanto Roku Sei Ken).

I don’t think he actually joined Raoh’s army. His was the star of betrayal. He broke rank right after the nuclear apocalypse, causing a chain reaction that destroyed the balance of the six nanto stars and sending them into chaos. Souther, being affiliated with the star of monarchy, already had conquest plans of his own, as did Shin with his ill intentions toward Kenshiro (thanks to some sly talk from Jagi), but according to the storyline it was Juda breaking rank that set the whole thing in motion. And yet in the end, he was just a martyr of beauty lol!

Back on topic, I’ve already pre-ordered the PS2 version through NCSX. I hope they don’t get a small initial shipment on release day and screw some of the people who pre-ordered it (Like they just did with my Garou Battle Archives2 pre-order!).

Well I kinda think he did due to Raoh using Juda’s QCF+P attack against Ken which is a technique of Nanto Kokaku Ken. Plus he was smewhat manipulated by Souther as well(According to the anime).

Well, yes, he did screw things up for the Nanto dudes…

…but if you read more of the manga/watched the anime, you would’ve found out that Souther turned out to be just as integral to the fall of Rokusei as Juda was, if only because he ended up condoning Juda’s actions and not slapping him on the wrist (or just killing the bastard) for stepping out of line when he clearly and utterly had the chance. It’s like saying that you have to put as much blame on the red-headed step-child who can do no right’s parent/legal guardian, as much as the child himself.

Really though…for him being the supposed “Emperor Star”, Souther really did have quite a laid-back attitude when it came to handling his constituent stars. I mean, wouldn’t some hindsight point to the notion that Rei, Shin and Yuda, not to mention Yuria and her Gosha posse, could have all been serious threats to his rule (even if they couldn’t “defeat” him), just as much as Shuu and the Hokuto Shin Ken successors could have been, if nothing else?

The only would-be conqueror who ran a some what decent, and “logical” campaign in the world of HnK was Raoh/Ken-oh, and even that fell apart by the time Raoh just started angsting uncontrollably about “not accepting love” and so forth and so on…

Well I figure he did’nt really care cause:

  1. None of the Nanto styles could touch/defeat him
  2. He was “safe” vs Hokuto Shinken due to his “Secret”
