No game fixes or characters? I’m disappointed but not surprised.
It would be nice to have an european release, but guess we’ll have to import it (not that it comes as a surprise or anything like that).
BTW, how comes that there aren’t any Mr. Heart videos? After the SBO everyone stopped using him (or atleast I haven’t seen any videos), which is strange because the character did very well in the SBO. Was it just because no one knew the character and know they know how to counter him?
your also retarded. nobody said that. there is still no word that ive read in this thread, on if they fixed the glitches or added any new characters. more will probably come out soon. just basic info has been dropped. if they wanna make money, they better fix the game a little and add at least 3 new, good characters. why release an arcade perfect game, when the game isnt exactly doin wonders in japan. last list i read. hnk was like at the bottom. glitches are fun, but im sure its whack after a while, and probably a reason its not at sbo next year. they need to come hard with the console release. ill admit a part of me wants to enjoy beating on my friends with retarded shit, like reis dragon upper infinite, but at the end of the day, i wanna still have an insane game to play, but not some bullshit that people will eventually stop takin seriously because its just a glitch shit fest. they should still leave room for sexy combos, dont rape the game, but fix it. to generally speak on the topic. no master of the game. someone who plays should post something more specific on what to fix.

errr… it’s actually quite popular. It has been on the top 10 list for almost a year already? Many games on the same motherboard(atomiswave) with hnk: NGBC, KOF XI, and Samsho 6 were all gone already, but hnk is still at top 10.
There is no need for a fixed version for console. Like GG series. All it needs is a newer version. The glitch that could cause problem is Rei’s uppercut because it freezes the game. Well even so it’s not all banned in Japanese tournament because player gets a lose if his Rei freezes the game:) Rei’s can do 80% regular combo on any character so there is not much to complain about, glitch or not.
Hnk is glitch fest? I wish… Those glitches are really exotic stuff, by the time you really master them, Hnk 3 is probably out. No, they are not as simple as you seen on the vids.
SBO usually have the new games on the list plus some classic games like SF series and KOF series. There is no newer version of HNK of course it won’t be in the next SBO.

well an 80% regular combo is something that needs to be toned down. thats retarded as fuck. i dont know how easy it is to do, but regardless, its still there. well, if its extremely difficult to do, and to do it takes alot of time and precision to the point that you deserve some crazy ass shit like that, then i guess i will bow down to it. as long as that isnt the regular. i watch alot of vids, but like i said, it would take someone like you to correct me on issues with gameplay and stuff. newer version, fixed version, same thing.

kof 98 is old, and i understand its on there more than less likely because of the upcoming release of that whatever version of 98. sc3 isnt that new. tekken dr and third strike arent new. i can see tekken dr, because its like the second most popular game in japanese arcades as rated by arcadia magazine. but sf3ts over something like kofxi? eh. i know do to popularity and probably a few other reasons, they want to keep 3s in there, but jesus christ. they havent gotten tired of that shit yet. thats just my opinion. would rather see kofxi in action, then that game. they do have vf5 and ggac though. thats nice. i need to watch some high level sc3, but i would prefer some hnk. me likes hnk. maybe a team battle would put an interesting twist on hnk if it were at sbo next year. oh well

I do admit though I took it over the top with my statement, which is due to being a ticked off about not hearing anything about a revision for a game that badly needs one. But do you really think Arc will do it? They seem pretty busy to me with Accent Core and Battle Fantasia, and with no word about some kind of update for the arcade version while the PS2 port release is lingering, I don’t see why I should feel guilty for doubting that there’s going to be some kind of new content added to the game before or when the port is released.
I think at the minimum all they have to do is port the game, since it’s pretty much looks like another piece of merchandise to cash on, thanks resurgence of the HnK series, due to the new movie. Come on…whose the majority people going to buy the game? Causal gamers.

SC3 wasn’t in it last year. I believe that’s because the arcade edition didnt come out on time. So it’s included this year.
Well, Think about it, SS6, KOF XI and NGBC all in SBO with hnk last year. But only hnk remain popular, at least in top 10, so far. For a new game, which there are new fighing games couldnt even get into SBO, HNK is doing damn well as a fighting game base on Anime.
HnK is the progenitor of the fireball AND dragon punch.

Why stop there? HnK is the #1 progenitor of a lot of what made up the “martial arts fantasy” genre as we know it today.
Without HnK, who knows if we would have gained the likes of Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and a whole myriad of other fighting-oriented series today? That’s why I, before I go to bed, I thank the Lord above for making sure that Tetsuo Hara and Buronson for creating the series; all of us fighting game fans owe it to the granddaddy grandmaster for sowing the seeds! :lol: :lol:

If no sequal shows up it probably will be. The game is fun, but it’s just kind of over the top… and getting hit once and having to wait 30 seconds for Raoh to combo you to death would get old after a while.
