Anyone going to Specialists?
I’ve been playing Ryu’s non-stop lately and I’ve tried multiple new tactics and I came to with a no charge tactic. It is really hard because it eliminates all charge moves unless you are blocking his attacks and it is hard to AA any jump in. It focuses on jab or c.mk hands and meaty hits. It also works on Sagat to a certain extent because of the high tiger shot and f.rh. It does help however in various ways. My reaction time is slightly getting better, I don’t have to worry about charge, allows me to move in a lot faster, and it also gives me more time to focus and read the opponent . I also eat less shoryukens and tiger uppercuts.
I need someone else to try this out and share your thoughts on it because I’m at the point where learning match ups and increasing my reaction time is all I need to get better.

good shit deci, I was watching the steam last night. Awesome job against certified, whenever I played him, he used to give me a lot of trouble.
thanks william. yeah he gives me trouble too. he’s a solid chun player. he just attacks too much for that match up, so i try to punish all of his pokes.
Yeah… I only beat him a couple times durring casuals, he does have a solid chun. Lol, I remember it gets so confusing back at box when people talk about you… they call you Will sometimes… and I go by Will too. So its like “wait which Will are you talking about?” Them -“Honda Will” Me -"…" LOL good times, damn I miss San Diego.

against cr.fp…really nothing.u might trade w some things…bt if ur in that zone where u cant do anything against that…u shudnt be jumpin in…js slowly walk in and apply pressure w jab hands…u might even be able to catch him w a sumo splash.bt a good rog knows where u keep u at bay. its honestly who gets the life lead and who can sit on it in that match.i know its not excitin bt its wat needs to be done if u really want to win.
and he is abusin forward and roundhouse.sneak in a headbutt (lp)
that doesnt leave u in a block stun too bad so u have time to do lp headbutt
Need help against Fei Long
Can’t jump because of flame kick or ducking fierce.
On the ground, ducking fierce against everything I do.
Blocked headbutts = Rushing punch.
Anyone have any luck against this Fei Long strategy?
walk and footsies. whiff oicho’s for meter and approach slowly. use HHS and s.fp if he’s spamming c.fp altho c.fp from fei is pretty slow and lacks range compared to most of honda’s normals so you should be able to whiff punish or sneak an occasional jump-in. Honestly tho, flame kick has shitty invulnerability so you should be looking to trade in j.hk if you can.
