Vizios VW32LHDTV40A, or anything in that model is lagless. Already have a 37inch and a 32 inch, and so far playing crisp and lagless! look for them at walmart!
How did you test it? I’m curious about the 32".

tests or stfu.
im tired of obnoxious posts like this.
thanks for the reply…so in that case, benq doesnt lag, sony lags… haha makes sense
now how to resolve this? i created my c.viper from sf4 on sony…and timing is 100% crucial for her…
is there anything i can do to reduce lag on current tv?
or what can i do to adjust and adapt?
i have a fgeeling the answer will be “get used it on benq or similar models?”
u can’t really do much on a sony unit to reduce lag and the worst part is that sony units are actually the worst in terms of input lag of any LCDs(I believe sony have worst LCDs period…my option)
Best is just use the sony for tv/movie watching…and just get a cheap low lag monitor.
Nice effort man. You mentioned that it was the best you came across? What else did you try?
Approx one frame of lag isn’t too awful.
If your sony has a “Game Mode” enable it through your tvs menu on the source that your console is running. make sure your console is runnin on the native resolution of your set…but i doubt this will eliminate or even greatly reduce the lag, though its worth a try.
but as SSRK said, invest in a cheap little monitor or buy a CRT television from craigslist. (u can find em for 50 dollars or so)
When u get used to playing with zero or unnoticeable ammounts of input lag ull see how much easier viper is to play. im a viper player. when u have time to wait out the feints and things like that makes all the difference. Dont settle for lag fighter 4 lol.
how do i test screen lag using a pc? i don’t have a ps3 or x360, so the only thing i have w/1080p hdmi input is my pc’s flat-panel (acer something-or-other 23").
Well, it was mostly through tests done by others, reviews, any review done on HDTVtest.co.uk done by Vincent Teioh, who actually includes input lag in his reviews. There is a devoted group of “twitch gamers” who care about input lag on AVSForums and they proved to be essential to my research. In virtually every instance, Panasonic Plasmas have had 1 frame or less of input lag; the G15s just happen to match up with what I was looking for (a home entertainment centerpiece; I watch a lot of movies and stuff besides just gaming).
And in fact, there is a 32-inch Panasonic model which has earned the title, “lagless” : http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showpost.php?p=16930966&postcount=1014
I was mighty tempted to get that one, but it just wasn’t big enough for me. It might be for some of you guys though!
^to bad its long gone .
Plasma unit seem to fair better when it comes to input lag compare to LCDs.
However plasma having be more prone to image retention prevents me from using a plasma as serious gaming only unit.
i have a CRT, it is better to use CRT? lag free?
just got a email about pre order for hd fury 3. anybody else thinking about getting one? opinions?
look like something nice to have but dayam 300 bucks!!
I don’t think its worth it if you can get a low lag monitor for around that price…
i got a 42 inch panasonic plasma with no game mode. through hdmi according to rockband 2 it lags an average of 34ms.not great but im real curious how it would do with a hd fury3 hooked up through pc input.anybody have abetter suggestion? oh yeah my system is a ps3
LH30’s are considered very good when it comes to input lag. Some later units come wit an 8-bit panel instead of a 10 bit one and aren’t as high quality.
Unless the pana disable all of the post processing when using VGA…I doubt it will help much…even if it did it wont result to zero lag.
I would recommend even getting the LH20 model. Its a 720p unit so it won’t need to upscale.
DO you know of any LH20’s being tested? What kind of panels are in them?
Not exactly sure…but I do know that they have almost identical spec of the monitor on the New Delta 32 cabs…
low lag but not zero lag…
