PS3 controllers are proven to not lag at all.
PS3 BC lags no matter what, it’s always about 3 or 4 frames.

3-4 seems a bit high. I thought it was closer to 2.
It’s an estimate, there really are no solid numbers.
anyone know if this performs just as well as the evo monitor?
Is there a list of TV’s and monitors that are 8 ms or less in this thread?
yes. 8 ft for fifty bucks. they are top of the line when it comes to music stuff so i figured they got to be good when it comes to comp hardware.
^If thats for an HDMI cable, you spent way to much. You bought into the hype of Monster
you can buy an 8ft cable for like $4 at monoprice that is better than monster cable…
lmao, you got pwned.
a $5 dollar cable works just as well as these $50+ monster cables.
research next time?
ouch man. i think this says it all http://consumerist.com/362926/do-coat-hangers-sound-as-good-monster-cables
hope you can still get a refund.
quick question, and this probably was answered already, but i didnt really scroll through 65 pages.
I have a Sony Bravia 32" at home, and i play fine there.
But when I play on Benq or Acer monitors, my moves don’t come out…
I feels like i have to wait a bit on the benq’s to cmoe out…not sure which is lagging? I heard the sony’s lag…
if so, does crt lag? can i eliminate the lag from Teh sony lcd?
i want to be consistent on 1 type of display…and want to know which one and how. thanks guys!
Sup guys, it’s been a while since I frequented this section of the forums but I wanted to give you all an update.
If you’re looking for an actual, full-size HDTV to use for movies, games, all that with minimal input lag, I can say, after literally two months of research and having purchased one myself, the Panasonic G10 and G15 series plasmas are practically the best you can get.
Input lag results in many modes: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showpost.php?p=16931119&postcount=5111
The input lag on the G-series is ALWAYS low. The highest I’ve ever seen it has been like 24 ms, but it’s nearly always below 20ms.
THE GOOD:
THE BAD:
I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who gets one of these sets, that you switch the image to something moving for about 10 mins or more for every hour you game with static displays on the screen (ie. health bar, HUDs, all that good stuff) during the first 100 hours or so. I babied the hell out of mine for the first 100 hours (all settings set to Standard) and it handles marathon gaming perfectly fine for the most part.
If anyone is wondering, the G10s and G15s use EXACTLY THE SAME COMPONENTS; they use different bezels and stands and that is the only difference. I went with the G15 because it was 1/2 an inch thinner and because my retailer didn’t even carry the G10s after the G15s came out; this just means you can most likely get the G10 for a few hundred cheaper, so if you don’t care about the thickness and are ok with silver trim on the bezel, I would totally go for it.
Sorry for the novella, but I wanted to make sure I got all that info out there Hope this helps someone! I LOVE mine and can totally vouch for the quality!
If it feels like u have to wait on the ben Q, that means your sony lags. If u play on a CRT ud have to wait even more trust me. you have gotten used to doing links and things earlier then you would have to on a lagless or close to lagless display.
i use monster cables 4 my stomp boxes. although they may not sound better, they r indestructible. after having as many cables short out on me n having to go through n finding n replacing it numerous times, 50 bucks is nothing. not that i would go monster next time 4 hdmi necessarily, but 4 music equipment, i still swear by monster.
lol $50 for hdmi cable? A $5 cable will work just as well as those overpriced monster cables …
top of the line when it comes to music stuff???
I took a audio AV class and the instructor(well known in the industry) never said anything good about monster cables…
my buddy who is a bass player and an audio tech geek who does this stuff for a living swears by them. musicians that i grew up with all swear by them. they have been great for me.
anyway; we’re way off track here. don’t buy monster hdmi cables if you don’t want to spend the money. use a coat hanger because it works just as well. and your hdtv does not lag; it’s all in your head. :arazz:
HDMI is a digital cable. It either works or it doesn’t.
Got my LG 37LH30 last week. There is a small bit of noticeable input lag judging from the timing on links, but I haven’t done any real tests on it yet. The closest thing I had to a real lag test was my Rock Band 2 guitar, and for some reason the camera sensor is bugging the fuck out when I try testing it.
From what I’ve heard, they switched the type of panel a few months ago. The confirmed low input lag version isn’t in production anymore as far as I know. There hasn’t been a conclusive test performed on the new one though.
What are the first 3 digits of the TV’s serial number?
