The Netflix Thread

Getting punched is nothing.

Chloe Bennet broke her arm in her John Wick scene in Agent of SHIELD.

Don’t worry, Danny is still charging his fist to go super saiyen and the planet will blow up in 5 minutes ten episodes ago.

People complained Danny charging his fist was lame and that he was dumb.

I thought that was the point. Danny is a dumb fuck hick, who lucked into billions.

He’s a fucking idiot who fantastically survives every encounter in the show.

We watched Defenders and I barely remember any moments in it. Not as emotionally in depth as Daredevil or Jessica Jones.

It was a mostly typical action movie plot I’ve seen a hundred times.

2nd trailer for Bright

Looks interesting…

Gunna be trash tho :coffee:

This is what its all about

This Mist show isn’t as good as the movie. Not even close.

Happy Stranger Things Season 2 debut, DAY!
B)

on episode 4…still love this series.

I have to say, Steve is probably my favorite character. Last season he was a total wimp douche guy until the finale when he start showing those bat skills. This season he’s actually pretty cool. He makes Negan look like a joke when it comes to swinging bats with sharp shit around it.

Up to episode 6…

Spoiler

IT’S BAAAAAACK!!!

this show is a giant rpg with madd side quests.

Gonna finish watching Mindhunter before jumping onto season 2 of Stranger Things. I’m hearing good things so I’m looking forward to binging on it next weekend.

Tell me about!!

Spoiler

FUCKING MINDFLAYERS!!

Lukas calling Winston shit was one of my highlights this season, also dem feels at the last episode.

Spoiler

It’s a map to One-Eyed Willy’s treasure of Hawkins!

lolol all the references in that episode fucked me up

Steve sucks. Billy is the homie.

so where do we go from here if we get a season 3?
-continue the storyline?
-new anthology type stories built in the same world ala twilight zone/outer limits?

Well, the Mind Flayer is still out there. They will undoubtedly have to explore deeper into the Upside Down considering that it’s made contact on Earth’s plane of existence and possessed a human. The ending of Season 2 also shows that it’s sentient as well, hovering over the school while the dance his happening. But they’ll have to handle it very differently or else it’ll be more of the same thing we’ve experienced.

They can also explore the idea behind the other experiments. We know of 011 and 008. Are there others? What can they do? Did they escape? Exactly what is the connection between the experiments and the portal to the Upside Down? What exactly is the Upside Down? What was up with the car that picked up Jim at the end of Season 1? Is Papa truly dead? I could go on and on. Season 1 dealt with the mystery of the disappearances. Season 2 deals with the acclimation to everyday life. No idea what the theme of Season 3 will be.

we always knew it was sentient. that was never in question imo. we just didnt know wtf it wanted…we still dont know and are guessing.

i felt like season 2 was more about everyone leveling up as characters. everyone changed from 1 to 2…also every woman in the series became super strong willed.
