The Netflix Thread

finished watching messiahs today
the show was pretty well done
the ending got me really confused though whether all its true or not

A Fall from Grace trailer…

hell yeah Dracula is on there now…and of course I’m absolutely loving this shit. It’s only 3 episodes but they are each about an hour & 30 minutes or so. I’ve only seen the first one so far… I am not one of those that regularly does the ā€œbingingā€ thing with shows for some reason; I’ll get to the other 2 later…at least the 2nd one tonight probably.

I would love to see a live-action Berserk season series…

dracula episodes 1 and 2 were great

each of them is like a self contained movie

episode 3 was … unique and interesting twist… but didn’t really like it as much as episodes 1 and 2

Finished ā€˜The Witcher’ last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has all the elements of the game and much more. My only minor gripe was I wished they picked a prettier Yennifer. Can’t wait for season 2. ā€˜Fuck!’

I’m three episodes in and have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Don’t get me wrong- it’s awesome, whatever the fuck it is.

Yeah, it jumped around to much, particularly at the beginning. Wife lost interest after a couple of episodes because it was hard to follow. I stuck with it because I knew where it was going, enjoyed it overall. Definitely could have introduced people to its world better.

I personally would have saved all the Ciri content for season 2 and used season 1 to focus on Geralt, Yen, and a bit more screen time for Jaskier/Dandilion.

ok good to see i wasn’t the only one who didn’t realize there were time skips until later. did you think it was cool when they finally revealed it though?

you cant be serious??? i was fapping to both hunchback yen AND post op yen!!!

The fact Netflix had to post a timeline made by the creators to clear up how all over the place the pacing was should tell you something. Lol

My only complaint is the actor for yennefer looks too young. She’s fine otherwise.

At what time everything in the past happened doesn’t really matter imo. It’s just nice to know. All you needed to grasp was that Ciri’s scenes are in the present and everyone else was in the past.

I think I finally realized it when Geralt and Jaskier were at the celebration with the Queen. That point seemed to be the most obvious, unless there were hints previously. I might watch it again.
