This movie rocks, the action was pretty dope as expected from a MB movie, especially that chasing scene was one of the best Ive ever seen in any action movie.
V Wars - loving it so far…almost done; I think it’s only 10 episodes and I’m on #7…
These vamps don’t even have a sunlight weakness; heh, nice. One minor gripe though is that they seem to lack super-speed…though I’m wondering why that ISN’T the case, because if you have superhuman strength and reflexes (demonstrated immediately by “patient zero” in the first episode), you should also be able to run noticeably faster than a normal person, since that superior leg strength would be a factor. The other downside I see here is that they don’t appear to have any mind-control ability, aka “compulsion” as they’d call it on the CW shows. There is a lesser form of it tho—some transmit a certain toxin when feeding that sedates people…so the victim is in a dazed, trance-like state for a long period of time; an evolutionary perk there—Interesting… obviously inspired by certain real situations in nature… there are some creatures that use a neurotoxin to sedate or paralyze their prey.
…but yeah, I’m already wanting more of this, even without having finished the first season. And hell YEAH I’m on board with that new Dracula. Every time I’m gradually losing interest in netflix, they keep finding a way to pull me back in with stuff like this.

Netflix wanna confuse the fuck outta people. So they got an anime series of heman written by Kevin Smith that’s a continuation of the og show and now another heman series that’s a reboot. Da fuck

Same thing basically happened with Child’s Play. The reboot happened while the OG storyline is still going to be on-going through SyFy

Yeah. The movie that came out this year was a reboot of the franchise. However, the original creatives involved with Child’s Play (including Chucky’s original voice actor) are making a series for SyFy that will be apart of the canon of the original child’s play movies (1, 2, 3, Bride, Seed, Curse and Cult)

I wonder if the reboot is intended to connect to the new She-Ra. I could see that be the reason for doing the reboot despite the timing being weird with Kevin’s He-Man.

Well, it’s good that this is for Netflix then, and NOT Cartoon Network; the 2002 He-man was just one more example of how otherwise potentially great shows get screwed over 1 way or another on that shithole network. If I was shopping an animated show around, CN would basically be my last resort to consider if no one else wanted it…because it is a foregone conclusion that they are going to fuck you over. For a few weeks it might be regular time…say 7 pm central, then suddenly your show gets moved to some stupid shit like 3:35 am central saturday…for just 2 weeks then it’s on at 5:30 am Sunday mornings only…then it’s back to Friday nights, etc. etc…then at some point they’re like “oops, looks like no one likes this show…the ratings keep going down for some reason…” Yeah that network can eat shit, imo.

That might be the case, I remember hearing not long after the initial reveal of the Kevin Smith He-man project that they danced around if it was going to tie into the current incarnations of She-Ra or not. It might just be its own separate thing aimed at us old heads and the reboot is the She-Ra companion aimed at the youth or young at heart that don’t care about the original stories.

Truth, I want to watch the second half of Stardust Crusaders in English. I was using DVR while it was airing but a technical issue caused the recordings to be erased when having to replace my cable box.

Been a while since a movie was adapted into a non-sensical animated series. Kind of reminds me of when Rambo and Robocop got cartoons back in the 80’s.
