there is no way hanzo is above big or kim.
hes good no doubt but kim is just plain dumb. there is nothing to picking him up and he can just combo all day for big damage. he has a good aa (d-u+K) and good air priority. hes also fast and recovers well from his flip over kick giving him stopping/locking down power from mid range. his crossup is crazy good too.
big has one of the best (and fastest to come out!) aa’s in the game. a glitchy c.HK trick. i saw a guy using him tonight against one of japans top players and all he did in the corner was c.HK->LP fb and repeat over and over. it doesnt combo but stepping out of it is about your ONLY option. add to that he has a nearly unavoidable cancel from his dp when its blocked (into the fbx2+KICK super at close range) and hes just a monster.
top tier = geese, big, kim and MAYBE iori.
marco is too technical to make top tier.

combatting hanzo is pretty easy.
2 things to remember, firstly dont let him get a light kick on you when hes got bar. a good hanzo player will constantly be looking for c.LK->fireball super. easy to do and does great damage with full knockdown.
secondly when he teleports he will most likely try to drop from near your head with a j.LK then land and combo into c.LK->fireball super. if you see him teleport stand up, dont get caught crouch blocking.
one of the top ten players (nick “guest”) is an osaka player and he uses pretty much exclusively from what ive seen hanzo and fuuma. i recently picked fuuma up after watching this guy a bit… fuuma has a crazy hit and run game. his dp is too good recovery wise 
How is Mr. Karate and Asura in this game? Particularly Mr. Karate, is he severly different Ryo in the KOF series or is he pretty much the same?
similar to 2k2 ryo. id put him at mid tier or so.

Eh, the 1p side at the Kong Man Center is pretty busted up so I didn’t get to play that much. The guy on the other stick didn’t have a problem beating me, whoring out Iori and Moriya though. The buttons were all sticky and the stick wasn’t that great. I hope CF gets it in a nice new cab.
Any strats for Marco? I saw in a video that he has a two hit combo using his knives while crouching down, how do you do that? I pretty much tried everything but still cant figure it out. About Marco’s POW super, the one with a guy walking around, is there a way to control when he fire his fireball or was the whole thing random cuz sometimes it’ll take him longer to fire the fireball.
Also, does Asura has some kind of combo like shiki’s f+AAAA. I thought I saw something like that in another video.
