Maybe this has been around for awhile but none of the vids I see show people after mid screen air combos doing a qcf gamma charge then canceling it to tsunami it seems to add quite a bit of damage.
I’m getting the same damage from using dash cancelled tsunami and gamma charge cancelled tsunami. Just tested it.
I have Spencer/Hulk/Task and love Hulks Gamma Wave as a OTG.
Works well with Spencer in the corner to keep from wasting an OTG Wire Hook. Slow start up can be countered by delaying the j.:s: to the ground so you land with the enemy. At mid-screen I can OTG with it and then :qcf::l: ~ :h: with Spencer to bring them back.
Also, when I use Spence’s Armor Piercer assist right after a OTG Gamma Wave finisher it puts them back into play for Hulk to toss around.
Mystic Ray does cover the entire length while Gamma Wave only does about 3/4 of the screen. It’ll cover the entire length but only if the camera hasn’t backed out enough. At full length it seems like it needs one more rock chunk to hit the opposite corner.

Command throw comes out way too slow, what is it 10 frames?
yah i agree its slow, but its fast enough, and has good range for when you make a good read on the opponent. unfortunately the only bad thing is i usually get people to be defensive and block when they are cornered, and this throw throws them out of the corner
gamma throw, dash, gamma tsunami does more dmg.
when i want to kill someone and am willing to use xfactor i do gamma throw, qcf+h, gamma quake, XFC, j.H, j.S, cr.H, S, etc.
No it doesn’t, the dash and the QCF+h serve the same purpose, but this takes you farther and gives you more time.

A lot of people seem to think one of these is better than the other, but I can get max damage with either. They’re the same. Canceling gamma charge is a lot easier, though…imo.
sigh they are not the same at all. they are two completely different supers that do diffrent amounts of dmg. I’m not talking about dash vs qcf+h. I’m talking about what SUPER to use.
gamma **TSUNAMI **simply does more dmg than gamma **QUAKE **after a gamma throw, unless you can prove me wrong.

My bad, I got confused. You can dash cancel either of those supers, so i thought you were comparing how far forward a dash vs. gamma charge moves you. That’s what I was talking about. Those are both the same.
You’re right, Tsunami is the more damaging super. Gamma quake is for the corner only, where Tsunami cannot do full damage. Even there, you have better options.
Why would you ever be landing a command throw in the corner and going for gamma quake when in the corner you can very easily land a gamma crush.
you can do crush midscreen.

maybe you should read a little closer because no one else was talking about that. it wasn’t even about air combos.
and if you have a slow moving cover assist like say, drones or rocks you should ALWAYS dash instead of charge since you can call the assist during it (unlike during charge). which the opponent will have to deal with after getting hit by the tsunami super.
