If you did s.C xx Quake XFC Crush fast enough, wouldn’t you basically be comboing s.C xx Crush? Or maybe it’s range dependent?
Anyone here know how many times Hulk can chain his gamma charge? And if he can charge again after an upward charge?
edit: Apparently the answer is only one followup gamma charge. Huge bummer.
You can charge away on block to make it completely safe, at the expense of positioning and pressure. Also in that new batch of videos on the front page, under the title Heavy Hitters, the first video shows that Hulk can Air Gamma Charge at a downward angle. It launches your opponent on hit. So that gives it some extra utility, which is cool.
It seems like he gamma charged UP towards him, then down towards him. If that’s an overhead Hulks pressure is gonna be pretty sick once he gets mid screen.
I been wondering about this. I very much doubt the downward charge is an overhead though. However I wonder how good/bad it is on block? Has anyone mentioned it yet?
I’m especially interested in whether the air Gamma Charge will be worth a damn when it comes to anti air.
Man I wanna put him on my team with ammy because imo his gamma charge assist looks like it would help her…it also would be great if you can use his gamma charge in air multiple times as a way of mobility but that is never gonna happen…right? lol
does his gamma wave assist go full screen?
Yes, because ALL of his Gamma Waves go full screen.
does hulk have an airgrab or an antiair grab?
I think it’s been shown that it’s not an overhead.
He can normal grab opponents out of the air just like in MvC2. He does’nt have a command grab like Thor or Haggar.
Incorrect. Gamma Throw has been shown to catch people out of the air(how useful it is to snatch people out of the air remains to be seen).
Is hulks floor bounce swing down normal an overhead? I see it has super armor too, a super armor overhead leading to floor bounce is insanity.
I’m almost positive this is incorrect.
I haven’t seen a version that doesn’t. Of course…I haven’t seen many people actually try to use it much.
I saw in one video that Gamma Wave eats beam projectiles for free, and continues on to hit his opponent. It probably beats other projectiles as well, I feel like it’ll be really strong against zoning.
Yeah I’m really fucking torn on what Hulk assist to use on my She Hulk / Thor / Hulk team. I know it’ll be a shit team against zoning, but Hulk’s gamma wave assist will at least help to some degree. However I really want to use his anti-air gamma charge assist because of the super armor and because Thor has shit anti-air by himself. So the big questions for me are do I want gamma wave assist to help the other two get in easier (at the expense of Thor getting rushed down), or do I want the anti-air assist to protect the others against rush down? I’m guessing that ultimately I’ll just have the change up the Hulk assist based on my opponent’s team. Thoughts?
EDIT: Plus can’t Gamma Wave OTG? In theory it should be a great assist after air series–>E
I’d go gamma wave assist.
Your entire team can take a beating in terms of health, if someones rushing you She hulks got the AA grab and I hear Thor wants people to rush him. I see you getting zoned out heavy with that team more than getting rushed down.
Yea I’m more concerned about Thor getting rushed down than She Hulk, since she has multiple AA options by herself. If Thor is in then neither of his partners will be able to provide the AA he needs. Soooooooo I dunno. I’ll probably start off with Gamma Wave assist and see if Thor can handle the rushdown on his own. As mentioned, I think Gamma Wave assist will provide better OTG combo opportunities that everyone can benefit from. Thx for feedback. Anyone else with thoughts?
ok ok totally forgot about this. Check this time stamped vid at 4:18

Alot of us remember seeing Hulk grab Deadpool out of the air with his Gamma Throw in a vid posted a month or so ago. Well in the above vid you can clearly see Hulk reach in an up-forward direction when he whiffs the throw. So it looks like he’ll have a specific button for an anti air version of Gamma Throw! It makes sense given the old vid we saw back then, but for some reason it just never dawned on me that he would have an anti air variation. Fucking great news cause I’m sure he’ll find use of it in resets, among other things.
