Doesn’t Gamma throw toss his opponent across the screen? I can’t imagine there being any non-corner combos unless causes bounce upon landing.

I coulda sworn I seen gamma throw–>gamma tsunami in a vid already, and I’m pretty sure that he wasn’t in the corner. IIRC it was in the same batch of vids from the guys who posted the 100% combo. I could be wrong though.

If it bounces or throws high enough, throw > charge would probably work.

In that video he used gamma throw to put his opponent in the corner. Gamma throw>gamma quake>X-factor>gamma crush.

Yah that was his 100% combo that got its own video. The combo I’m talking about was in a different vid of theirs.

I hope Hulk gets better, because I’m worried about him. The green behemoth with unlimited strength needs to be up a bit higher than he was previously. One thing I think would help is to have his strength increase as his health decreases. It helps him a bit in knocking enemies out and it is faithful to his character since in the comics the more he gets hit the madder and stronger he gets.

apparently he’s a bit of a sleeper right now. Hearing good things about him here and there.

Apparently Gamma Quake does not OTG. Weird and disappointing.

I could’ve sworn I’ve seen him OTG with that a bunch of times…

I presume this is from stream. was it a ‘clean’ attack or at the end of the combo?

I guess I’m asking if the otg was already ‘used’

Yes, it was from the stream. In retrospect, I think it didn’t combo because it was after a reasonably long air exchange combo, so it was probably a matter of hitstun scaling. My bad.

On the stream, s-kill showed off (or tried to show off) a 100% corner combo with Hulk. The start of it was:

j.C,j.E v c.C,E ^ sj.A,sj.B,sj.C.sj.E v

…and then he messed up. That alone did probably 60% on Tron. It looked like he was going to finish it with an OTG assist into Super or Quake XFC into something. Either way, death.

Actually I dont think he was even trying for an assist. I’m still trying to figure out what he was trying to do after the sj.E that ended in the ground bounce. I noticed he was trying to use the anti-air gamma charge + followup. Would that OTG again?

I dunno what followup he was going to use after it though. Perhaps E xx Gamma Quake?

Yeah, probably E, gamma quake. that makes too much sense for it. Or doesn’t s.H ground bounce and OTG at the same time? So maybe s.H, gamma quake or E,s.H,gammaquake

I still don’t understand the TvC/MvC3 engine though; don’t you only get one OTG opportunity per combo? Like, you never see Dante players do the Sword Ride move twice cuz it won’t work again and E will miss. Or maybe OTG supers ignore that rule?

My final guess for the combo is:

No, there’s no limit on OTG hits per combo. There are limits on wall bounce and crumple stun/stagger hits though, at least that’s how it worked in TVC.

It might be different yet again.
