SFV music overall isn’t as good as those games (except Alpha 3. That game’s soundtrack was super hit or miss.), but it’s a huge improvement from 4.

A Street Fighter theme should make me want to kick someone in the face. If it’s making me want to sit down and have a nice cup of tea, it’s a failure.
3S had some damn good melodies and instrumentation. Can’t say the same about Alpha 3.

Nah, variety is the spice of life. If all themes were just ass kicking music it would be lame.
I prefer USF4, just because there are so many of my favorite songs in it, because of the sheer volume of characters and themes in it. But Alpha 2 was definitely my favorite for a long ass time.

No. The total number of songs in SF4 that I love is greater than the total number of songs in Alpha 2 that I love. SF4 also has more subpar songs than Alpha 2, but if I’m just comparing good songs to good songs, SF4 beats it out.
SF4 also has some of my favorite songs in the entire series.
Volcanic Rim is my favorite SF song, period. I also LOVE Crumbling Lab, Sakura’s Theme and Balrog’s Theme.

Probably the best stage theme so far. It took the main theme song and turned it into something epic. I love how the stage music changes when health is critical and when you win.
Round 1 of the Lair of the 4 Kings would be my second favorite.
While the character themes have been hit or miss, the stage music in SF5 keeps sounding better and better.
Djent is so fucking awesome
