Cody’s theme is pretty awesome, one of the better SF4 songs. Also Hakan’s reveal trailer had good music, weird but good (Just like Hakan).

SF4 had some decent music but it took too long to get to the point. When you were waiting for someone to join your lobby and had a chance to listen it was like, “Ah, that’s not bad, never noticed that.” But none of the events in SF4 last long enough to really let you listen for an extended period of time. That said, there wasn’t a whole lot of identity to a lot of it like there was with previous SF OSTs.
I don’t think the remixes in SF4 count as new music. They’re good but they just took existing songs that were already good and arranged them without changing anything. That doesn’t change the fact that their original compositions are extremely poor.
Are you saying their remixes are bad, or that the original music they based the remixes off of are bad?

Oh yeah I agree. I am more confident about SF5 because the budget is likely decently high, and now Dimps has a SF title under their belt. Plus I’m sure they have heard many of the complaints we had about SF4.

I understand Cody’s theme fits into that “hiphop” category we were talking about, but it’s just not something you can fight to and feel awesome while doing it. Might work as a options menu theme song though, just think about it. Hehe’ Right? 
I dunno, i always felt like the SF4 sound track was mostly bad or had a few good songs that were all over the place. I love the Ultra main menu theme song though, KILLS vanilla and the rest of them’s.**
