I like how the attention to detail is all over the place; Chun-Li can shoot fireballs, Vega wears a mask and has claws, but Bison is a generic dude in a beige suit.

Honestly, it doesn’t look too bad as action films go. But, I don’t expect anyone here to admit that, so…
My only issue is that she doesn’t really look like we’d expect Chun-Li to in real life. But, whatever. We’ve all dealt with much bigger inconsistencies in game-to-movie or comic-to-movie translations.
Doesn’t have the super cheesy, cartoony stuff of the old SF movie, so that’s already a plus.
I’ll take the albino vampire over this movie anyday.
I am actually thinking the first SF movie may end up better than this. They couldn’t even find a dark haired, dark eyed actor for Bison? Gimmie a break.

I second that, and I think this movie has more realistic martial arts than the dragon ball movie, everyone saying I rather take the Albino piccolo are the ones that are going to give fox fucks money to make another crappy sequel.
Maybe everyone has a secret soft spot in their heart for the first one. I had so many bad/hilarious lines that it grew on ppl. Ex " For me it was Tuesday." I dont know though. Just a random thought.

because of what its based off. it set the expectation, and will drop the ball because of just poor everything when it comes to this movie. i mean, its a big fuck you as i see it. if it was just a regular action movie, it would still look like cheesy wired martial arts trash, but the expectation is really not there, or real low, so people might just go see it because their favorite smallville star is throwing chi balls. besides the fact that it looked like a crappy martial arts movie, that people did better with less budget over ten years ago, its a disgrace to the characters we have all come to know and love.
look at the old kung fu joints like, one upon a time in china, heroes among heroes, etc… the list goes on. top notch, and that shit was over a decade ago, with not even a quarter of the budget this movie had. i assure you those old martial arts movies will be better than this shit fest. she doesnt in anyway remind me of chun li, unless we’re talking a teenage chun. than maybe. bison is disgusting. is vega’s mask chrome dipped?
