this topic is flawed. if so called character is really “broken”, then how come they are allowed in competitive fighting games? surely, they’re beatable by a small cast, but if so, then are they really “broken”
oh hey everyone look its forums user ‘tonythetiger’ unironically posting about smash. real glad this is a new account and i didnt realize my ignore list was empty
Well it is sort of curious that the OP wants the most broken characters in competitive fighting games, but won’t count characters that are broken enough to be banned.
the tick fab is apparently a random chance as to what happens.
if you can to reverse throw (and get reversal points for it) but fail
you can try to reverse with a dp on either a fab or lv3 fab and the game randomizes who wins. Kinda like what happens in ST when two players try to throw at the same time.
Same thing happens if you try kairis launch super and raging demon type move. Game rolls to see who wins the chance.
but to answer your post directly it basicly goes
super stomp, reverse attempt, fab
but since both the reverse attempt and fab occur on the same frame its random who gets whose and who doesn’t.
It’s probably not as competitive as the other games in the series but isn’t May Lee supposed to be ridiculous in KOF 2k1? I saw one Japanese match video of the game a while back and she was dominating.
Yknow whats funny about this? There was a way around it and it seriously suprised me NO ONE in the SC community found it, till this day. Im still not gonna say what it was but it was easy lol.
It was the first thing we checked when it was discovered by my friend Super Nacho. We hyped it up, (ALOT of people said we were fulla shit) then at the Texas Regional in Austin for SC3 it was unveiled for the first time. I released a vid demonstrating it after the regional (with Gargos KI2 music in case anyone remembers) and then heads (zeroxero0 IIRC was the first) from SC.com started confirming it was fucked up.
I remember BrianH8s and DevilJim were pissed after his match against it. Others who were there (Linkrkc, ivylicious, Furiath, etc.) were either in complete disbelief or shaking their heads in disgust.
So broke? If you dont know how to escape it, then yes it is.
Yep it was easy lol. Its multi-facepalm worthy. But in anycase Omega won with it along with Zas at Nats. I think its funny and it makes me wonder if anyone even tried learning how to escape it instead of accepting that it was “part of the game”. (except it wasnt part of the game due to a glitch, VC)
As for vids, i have some on a digi-tape. Just gotta find it. Some vids are floating around somewhere on an FTP server that belonged to a SC/8WR member.
No Zero is better than Geese, Zero has easier ways to set up his infinite, he recovers very fast when he shoots his projectile, he has an unblockable combo involving him throwing his opponent, launching his exploding fish, opponent gets blown up and then Zero does his infinite. His dp (spinning sword) was fast and recovered fast.
Geese has an infinite combo, but it requires a little timing, but Zero’s infinite was in the air involving juggling the opponent with his air DP (spinning sword) and it was not that hard to time.
Geese is close to him in broken department, but I’ve seen all the BS Zero has in SvC that doesn’t compare to Geese’s BS.
