i really really hate the fact that MH3 is only for the wii…
MH3 is gonna be soooo sick.
Just got Freedom Unite from amazon. Going to fuck with it over the next few days. I also just bought a wii for No More Heroes and Monster Hunter 3, but NMH just got announced for PS3 so I guess wii is a MH3 player.

There may not be any plans for the first NMH to be released on the ps3 and 360 over in other territories other than Japan at the moment.
damn MH3 looks sick, I need to get back online with my Wii. guess I’ll buy a network adapter since the Nintendo wireless USB thing I bought doesn’t work anymore :annoy: though it’s probably a more reliable connection anyway
also, for those who may not know Ad Hoc party was released on the US PSN not too long ago, though I’m sure most people already have it or the other program to play MH.
Monster Hunter crack. I wish TRI would add in like a clan type system.
PS3 games are region free, so if they put English option on the game, I will just import it.

I loved Demon’s Souls and beat it, and will do NG+ after I play other games. I heard a lot of comparisons between the two, but I always wrote off MH because of Gamespot’s extremely low review.

Burned up some steaks and undercooked several as well. That part seems lame, the window seems too small. I’m playing it hooked up to my Plasma, I wonder if there is some lag. It shouldn’t be because it is through the component jacks.

Best way to cook food and play with your pig (get the big heart for +10 luck to all rewards after completing your next quest) is to simply tap your foot to the beat. After the song ends continue for three more taps, on the third tap just hit X and you should have a perfectly done steak or a big heart from piggie.
Heads up, Monster Hunter Tri is confirmed to have free online play in North America.
I got the demo of monster hunter tri today, thanks to game stop.

I tested out the switchaxe,not my style, I’ll take hammers.
Speaking of hammer, its more combo friendly. You can start a triple pound with either Side pound followed by two heavy pounds or the regular three heavy pounds.
The changes to the charged attacks are fantastic, especially the second charge, which is a quick dash forward followed by a upward swing.
I’ll test out other weapons later tonight
BTW, NO Duals swords or Hunting horns in tri.

Changes to the lances is two new moves
When pressing the Front thrust and the upward thrust attacks together, you get a horizontal sweep. You swing the lance a horizontally. IT can be combo in. Front, front sweep for example.
The second move is a Charged attack. When your blocking with the lance, the forward thrust will still thrust the lance forward while blocking. But when using the upward swing. the character does a charging up motion and thrust the lances upwards powerfully. While charging you CAN BLOCK attacks, but it seems to me that it cancels the charge and you get a half powered upward thrust.
Assuming your using the classic controller while playing, the Charge attack has been relocated to the Start button, what ever is closer to the buttons and not the D-pad
