For all the people that use ad-hoc for MHFU, which channel do you usually go into? I only saw people in J50 and J51 tonight. Are those the usual channels to be in?

Yup, J50 is the main channel, though when that gets full it floods over into 51 too.

I want to know if i jump online are there alot of beginners playing? im only about 10hrs into the game and would like to play with people my level. Im sure the pro players wouldn’t want to lug a beginner around.

Pft, personally I like boosting people through quests. If you’re ever on Ad-hoc party let me know. :tup:

But there are quite a few beginners on Adhoc party, I often see people opening rooms for HR 1-6

On another note, do you guys know where I can find Union Ore at? I’m thinking the volcano but I’m not too sure

Quickest way I know of getting free shit you need like Ore,bugs,fish, etc. Is from your farm. Just go on a gathering quest, turn in the pawprint stamp and go and do your farm again, and then rinse and repeat. You could also use this method to make some money.

And If I’m on I’d be more than happy to help you guys level up as well. Fireboy Helped me, least I can do is return the favor to others.

Alright, I have MHFU now. I’m going to try this AdHoc shit. I have a couple questions:

How far do you guys get in single player before jumping online?
In the AdHoc party, how do you communicate?

Thanks guys! Play ad hoc, its kinda boring if you play by yourself. We’ll at least to me it is.
On the PS3 you can communicate by head set or by typing

I got to like elder 5* before doing much online, got to HR2 before really getting into online play. Definitely more enjoyable with a group but it can be fun solo sometimes.

So I got 2 lao heavenlies, got my lao HBG, dunno what to do with the other 'cuz I don’t care for the other weapons lol

GC 2009: Monster Hunter Tri Interview

contains some info I didn’t know myself about the game including the ecosystem of the game and the fact that the game was intended for the PS3 but they uh…yanked it and put it on the Wii lol. Those who own another system will be happy to know that the guy did say that PS3 and 360 monster hunter’s aren’t out of the question completely yet.
