When a monster is sleeping, it takes waaaay more damage then normal from the attack that wakes it up. You’re supposed to hit it with something serious in that situation. Hammer Super Pound, Great Sword Lv3 Charge, Charge Blade Elemental Burst, L Barrel Bombs, etc. Sleep Bombing a monster over and over is a legit strat.
Still surprising when it happened. The other Diabolos runs I was on never got to that point where just putting a shit ton of bombs while it was sleeping was enough to kill it.

Monster Hunter World main theme got an official orchestrated version. Seems to be from some sort of orchestrated album? Either way, enjoy the main theme without all the monsters roaring, people talking, and weapons firing/smashing into monsters. Brings a tear to my eye how beautiful this track is.
