Delete all of your mods or risk getting fucked over!!!
Some mods crash the game, some don’t do anything.
So best not to take any chances, and just uninstall them.

Viper Tobi is an annoying hunt. A love tap is enough to poison me. If I don’t get poisoned I get paralyzed. Why you do this to me?

How’s Icebourne been running for you? Though I haven’t experienced issues but I have been getting higher than normal CPU utilization. I tracked my CPU usage and I would get anywhere between 44%-50% on the CPU which is double the avenge for me. The highest I saw it go was 70%. It doesn’t make it unplayable but this game never took this amount of CPU power pre Icebourne.

I had one very weird freezing hiccup last night when switching to an premade armor build and the Stonethrower skill doesn’t show up and is blank.
My CPU is usage has shot up as well, its gotten up past 90%. You’ve seen my spec for my gaming desktop, the base game never maxed out my CPU utilization.
Other than that I haven’t dealt with any issues, but I didn’t the Iceborne storyline yet. My part of Texas had a major storm front blow through last night, and just got home from work.
I cheesed him the first time I played the story one console.
I had slapped on poison & paralysis resistance decorations on my build.
Barioth is going to be bitch to deal with on your first play-through.

Is ther a trick to the steamworks mini game or is it completely RNG?
In my experience there are some patterns to it but there is no tell. You can just hold the button that starts it to automatically pick 1 2 3 in that order though. On console it’s R2 to start, dunno about PC
Its a combination of both.
Patterns usually repeat on occasion but there’s no tell.
Yeah I learned the hard way to make a poison immune build for him. I’d bring antidotes and antidote powders. And just run through them all. Annoying as fuck since poison damage got buffed. You cant ignore that shit anymore.

You need paralysis resistance too.
He will wreck you without that.

I never really got paralyzed by him much
It’s the constant poison if he so much as grazes you, that use to screw me over
I haven’t tried any of those out, but I need something to keep my CPU out of the 90-100% range.
