I had to pull the trigger and buy one back in the summer when Mahvel: UA3 & Mario Marker 2 came out, and just recently bought Zelda: BOTW as it almost made me buy a Switch back 2017!!

You can make some crazy strong builds with all the new stuff. Plus you can use Resentment, and easily have space for a bunch more damage skills cause of the huge +40% affinity on the 5 piece Safi set.
Helps that it looks fucking awesome too

Man, Iāve been so damn busy that I havenāt even had a single day to be able to get on to play Iceborne. With my niece over for a visit, itās been virtually impossible along with a funeral Iāve had to attend too as well.
I only have another day of class before Iām finally off for a 6-week holiday, so Iām going to plant some double digit hours worth of running this siege that Iāve yet to experience once.

This is sad but Iām very grateful to his work. As much as I enjoy playing Monster Hunter World, Iām still grinding plenty of hours on MHGU on my Nintendo Switch.

The Safi weapons for melee are fucking amazing. 325 true raw on a hammer with comfy white sharpness and even a little positive affinity? Godlike

When you cute AF but can still hit 100% Affinity without Tenderizing.
For anyone wondering about the math:
25% from Affinity III augment + 25% from Crit Eye 5 + 30% from WEX 3 + 20% from Safiās 3 piece set bonus = 100% Affinity.
That Safi armor looks great!

The best part is how it transforms when you unsheath your weapon. I specifically made this build so Iād get the helm and waist, since those are the bits that change the most.

Was able to get on last night and today and was finally able to finish my Safi armor set (at least B), and also nab the scarf and the Oolong layered set, so Iām very pleased.
Safi raid is rather meh, but in terms of looks, this thing is like an incarnation of Smaug from The Hobbit, in which case I absolutely love. However, the raid grind is real, because youāre now just spamming it to try and get the highest level possible to get the rewards for upgrading.
I love these events, however I hope they slow down lightly because itās so much to take in and run. Iām literally exhausted trying to get everything that I want. I still need to take some time, go into the Guiding Lands and look for that Ice Mole, since Iāve gotten all of the rare ones besides this one.
