No he gave him more of a chance because Aldo has been in tough spots before. John gives people who he knows who are known to tough it through more of a chance than say a dude he may not have seen. He’s said this before.
Aldo had every chance to recover given to him and he STILL was shaking his head about them stopping it.
When the guy in the fight gets that long and still complains about it being stopped I dont wanna hear about unnessary damage.
Aldo was gutted when he lost. That shit was hard to watch Aldo like that. Tough to watch greatness cry.

I like Hunt but I hope Derrick Lewis wins. Hunt’s in his 40’s and Lewis, if he can some how not get slept by Hunt, has more of future in the sport. Plus the I like the dudes personality. I can get behind fighter with personality, as long as they perform in the cage.

He didn’t crumble under pressure. He was completely gassed. I’ve never seen a dude put his hands on his hips because he was so tired in a fight before.
Those 3 leg kicks mark landed in round 2 basically gave him the fight. Lewis lost his mobility and at so many shots. It was a good lesson for the dude though. Hunt looked so good last night.
