Iām gonna be watching ONE FC 100 in part of the card and the fact both Shooto and Pancrase are co-promoting on this event. ONE FC making miracles happen.
Posted this elsewhere. Am I the only one that thinks Zhang has a legit shot to win the title from Andrade. I donāt think Andrade will be able to muscle Zhang like she does most women in the class. Andrade has had issues against fighters with technical striking. Rose was handling Andrade before the slam KO. I donāt think this fight is a cake walk. Part of the reason Zhang got the fight is that no one, except for Andrade, was willing to fight her.
I figured that Andrade still relied on her strength and not develop any real leaps in technique into her fighting style to make a difference. Andrade is good until she finds out her barrages donāt work if her opponent knows how to sidestep and counter.
After watching Weili body Andrade in the clinch, I donāt like Roseās chances against Zhang. Sheās basically Andrade but with actual striking technique, footwork and wicked strength/power to boot.
And we all know that Rose doesnāt do too well against fighters that can be smart about the rushdownā¦
