The MMA Thread. BJ Penn Didn't Die #HeDeadThough

do go on. how does it all worK? too bad i cant wiki some info like this.

You have any proof? Sounds like conjecture at best to me.

if there was proof, i would imagine alot of people being in jail and no one needing to ask for proof.

that and it costs a shit ton to have a kid. no one can afford to have 15 babies anymore.

That’s my point, I’m not calling them liars it just sounds like they are parading there opinions around as fact.

Why is that a bad thing? Lower birthrates means less people to take up resources for a country (food, gas prices etc…). Less strain on welfare and other social programs that benefit the lazy.

Course now we have all these illegal immigrants who are taxing an already taxed country.

^^^^^

bad growth = graying population = disproportionate amount of old people to young = disproportionate amount of retired to workers

because in non-industrialized countries, the old die alot sooner, so its not a problem. of course they have way worse problems anyways.

you ol’ excuse for this nigga making nigga please! hormone therepy my ass. that nigga’s juicing and got some quack doc to sign his shit.

long term, it leads to a situation (like in the US) where you have more old people bleeding the system than you ahve younger people paying into it.

korea is experiencing a similar problem with birth rate around 1.3 last i heard (anything below 2 is below replacement).

Report: M-1 Global President Refutes Mob-Tie Claims By Overeem’s Manager

Even if Finklestein has no mob ties whatsover, the US federal government would have to investigate their company, and if mob ties were found than Zuffa/Station Casino’s would loose their license to facilitate gambling. You really think they are gonna take that chance.

That’s all I feel like coming up with off the top of my head. I don’t know about mob stuff in other countries, even America, but I guarantee you the shit in Japan is real and I haven’t even begun to tell you the stories I’ve heard over the years by several different kinds of people.

i like stories.

I also thought it was interesting how the frequent weight cuts seemed to be tied to needing this kind of treatment. I wonder, if this treatment was just flat out banned in all combat sports, would the increased risk of developing the deficiency make people more apt to fight at their natural weights? Some fighters already do this and will just fight regardless of the size as long as it’s within reason (Pride notwithstanding), some want to try and drop as low as they can, so they can have a pure size and weight advantage. I’d be curious to see if less people took on the dramatic weight cuts knowing that treatments like this are fully illegal for when you fuck up your system.

They should just make it illegal to cut more than 15-20 pounds. I’m getting tired of seeing people gas so quickly in fights. This will also help lower the amount of times that fighters miss their designated weight and receive a lot of backlash.

I always thought they should weigh in on the day of the fight.

Better yet just have them weigh-in unofficially each day of the week leading up to the fight. You can bet people will stop cutting so much weight then.

Why, it would make things safer for the fighters and you wouldn’t have 230 lb guys fighting in LHW division. There’s no negative. Well except for fighters like Brock who rely solely on being bigger than the other guy to win, those guys wouldn’t do so well.

The point of making weigh ins the same day would cut down on cutting weight. There would be less problems with people not making weight and gassing in 1 round. A lot of fighters actually fight much better at their natural weight rather than cutting to make a lower weight class. I don’t think cutting weight is cheating or any BS like that, it’s just that cutting weight tends to cause a lot of problems.

i got the answer.

weigh them in 10 minutes before the fight.

THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS. and they should be held to that standard.

i dont agree with weight cutting.

not because i think its unfair.

i think it is just kind of unnecessary.

it can be removed if people would want it to be removed (people that mattered that is), and wanted enough to find a way to remove it.

saying we should keep weight cutting because we have weight cutting is just circular logic.

if they’re supposed to be disciplined pros, then why not hold them to 10 minutes before a fight?

if those were the rules, then im sure people would adjust to that all the same as they have already adjusted to weight cutting.

what if you fight in a division that is your natural weight, but dont want to have to be outweighed by someone that cut weight to be in your division?

i guess your only choice then is to cut weight yourself isnt it?

insanity. he cuts weight so i cut weight.

i like how you’re not allowed to grab hair in MMA.

it prevents “he shaved his head, so i have to shave mine”.

Everybody would be fighting the same people anyway, just up one weight division and people wouldn’t have to deal with the health risks of cutting and what not. Although, I personally couldn’t careless since I’m not the one playing with my health to fight, I just get annoyed at watching a guy who cut 30 lbs gas in 2 minutes.
