You shouldn’t. To embed, I think you just need to put the youtube.com/jumble-of-letters in after clicking the “Media” button on the posting toolbar. E.G., for your video, you’d click that button, and then only put in the http://www.youtube.com/v/XLhgKAkhcI4 part in the popover prompt, then click “Embed”.
