Bas is a terrible color commentator. He’s a terrible play by play guy. He is just terrible in general and people give him respect because he was the first MMA personality to give context to what fighters are going through in a match. That is his claim to fame and I love him for it but MMA has moved on.
Goldberg is a better commentator than Bas in every way.

Slip and Rip makes fine sense slip out the way of the punch and countered by ripping a shot back at him. I swear Goldie gets crap for the smallest things by hipsters and try-hards. Goldie’s a fine commentator and seems like a nice guy that really loves the sport.
I don’t get the hate Rogan is almost always picking favorites in fights which is much more annoying to me than anything goldie does.
