If the general public know about a fighter, or they’re in a big organization, they’re pretty much instantly discredited to him. “Oh, he didn’t join the UFC in his prime, that’s why he did poorly. There’s this other fighter that’s the best x-weight in the world, but I’m sure you haven’t heard of him.” It’s a shame that he’s such an absolutely-rabid, Asian-MMA fanboy, because he’s actually pretty knowledgeable about a lot of fighters.

TBQH Aoki is grossly overrated. My personal favorite active Japanese fighter atm is Minowaman, but too bad he seems to be past his prime already.
