Only problem is that the NFL wants people to make choices with faulty data. they need to fess up and let people do the study; but I hear some of this is also a bitch fight about what to do with retired players and their medical debt.
Well with football and hockey (ill talk about hockey cause that’s what i know) you have the fans and players and gms that know the dangers but actually argue against rules that go in to protect the players. Like the last couple years the big thing in the NHL is blindside head hits. and honestly i’m one of the people that think all these rules they are putting in against them are for pussies. Like i can understand if you blatantly take a guys head off with your elbow. But if a guy cuts across the middle of the ice with his head down or not looking and gets ran over for it…well to fucking bad. that’s your own fault. You learn that shit when you are 8 years old…keep your fucking head up.
I don’t know these sports have been around so long, and they are ingrained so much into peoples lives people don’t want to see it change.
Sonnen beat up Anderson WITH HIS STAND UP AM I RIGHT? And Mario Miranda is the king of Muay Thai. The Sagat of MMA bro. I’m a bitch because you’re wrong. Well done.
lol… I found a video of the kimura setup I used…was one of the first things I actually learned when training back in the day so I guess it stuck with me. too bad its the Gracie jiujitsu guys as well. I mean, their instructional videos are nice but for some reason it comes off as cheesy/kinda creepy.
Similar to the hits on “defenseless” receivers in football, maybe? I’m all for banning helmet to helmet hits, taking shots at player’s knees, etc. But the “defenseless” receivers thing always bothered me. It’s up to the QB and WR to be on the same page and put themselves in good positions where they aren’t leaving themselves “defenseless.” If it’s a clean hit to the chest, I don’t care where the receiver is, knock his ass straight out of the air if his QB wants to throw it up high over the middle like that. So yeah, hard hits to the head are something that can be banned, but hard legal hits to someone that isn’t paying attention, or put themselves in a dangerous position?
MMA has already somewhat solved this in one aspect, where it concerns spiking. If the dude is clung to your back, and you dump him on his head, that’s not the same as you picking him up and piledriving him blatant. Good rule, imo.
Cerrone vs Gomi? Gomi would KILL him. It’s not really a perk
Aldo vs BJ would be good if BJ were able to take Aldo down.
Every other match is kinda meh and Jake Rossen is… Ridiculous at times.
my opinion of course
Nope
I was upset at the fact I had to wait the whole day for my matches and had zero practice time when there were open systems. Of course I was upset. When they pretty much did everything on the stream and delayed when we could play it was bullshit. Ask anyone who was there. Keits ran that tournament like shit. So I must be a bitch because I want ample practice time if I have to wait 4+ hours for my match right? This isn’t Evo when they you have 2 hours in SSF4. There wasn’t over 1000 people. There was like 200.
Everyone has to deal with long waits and cold streaks at major tournies, it’s a reality of the tourney scene that people have been dealing with for years. You’re just being a little bitch about it. Nobody that’s ever been to a tourney has any fucking sympathy for you. Nobody owes you a practice station. Do what everyone else at tournies does.
yeah exactly like that…like obivously if you hit the guy dirty, with an elbow or from behind or target the head or helmet to helmet ok…but if its a clean hit and he’s just not looking…fuck that. he deserves the concussion. there was one the other day where it was a clean hit shoulder to chest…and they gave the guy a game misconduct just cause it was from the blind side. wtf.
i didn’t say most. There shouldn’t be any in there that can’t though. which there is…or was. Like would you be scared to fight josh haynes?
I never wanted sympathy. The reality is YOU CAN RUN IT BETTER. So don’t fuck it up. I never said anyone owes me a practice station or anything. I’m just saying, if I have to wait for fuck ups I won’t go. Is it really that difficult to understand it takes less time with more than 5x the people to get a tournament running efficiently but Kiets’ dumb ass can’t do it right? They knew it was going to happen, just like Evo happens every year. And if Focus Fire takes over they actually know how to run tournaments and haven’t been around nearly as long.
This guy edited a series of classic MMA bouts.
Some I dont agree are classics, sometimes the editing takes away from the fights.
But most are really good fights.
Or are historically significant.
Or both.
Randy Cotoure vs. Kevin Randleman is a snoozefest tho.
Vol. 5 in the link there is my fav so far, (havent watched em all admittedly)
Koscheck solidifies he is the biggest douche in MMA, as soon as “man nurse” mentions the phantom knee he goes mental. If you can’t take it you shouldn’t have talked shit before hand.
I love how he was talking shit about how GSP put the guy up to causing trouble. What a tool. The dude was basically Koscheck’ing Koscheck, and he couldn’t take his own medicine.
And when he was talking about how he outsmarted Georges and how he was getting all this insider information. It’s like this giant dickface didn’t realize that GSP has already done the same thing to him at the very start of the season by letting him see his “first pick”. The worst part is that he really probably thinks he’s getting the best out of each exchange and interview.
edit: The plunger shit was golden though. Good editing.
Yeh week before, Alex replaced the washing soap with bleach :nono:
It’s pretty disappointing how in the first episode Alex is liked by everyone but has now completely loss focus and turned into a dick.
