nah i only talk bout the retirement stuff cause rumors flew that aoki was talking retirement after his last loss. im indifferent bout aoki as a fighter…but if 1 loss makes you wanna call it quits(if rumors are true). you lost the drive and need to move over for people wit the motivation still.

Aoki has the best resume at LW ever with 9 top 10 wins. He’s currently the most successful (top wins wise) in the division. He only wanted to call it quits because he has a new baby daughter and people in Japan HATE him. He brings a lot of it onto himself. However, he is an amazing fighter. He didn’t even want to fight at Dynamite!!! and he also fears MMA dying in Japan. If MMA dies in Japan Aoki will retire. Hopefully DEEP and Shooto can get their shit together. Shooto especially. They are just a grass roots org that used to be a top notch organization for all weights. Not just 155 and below.
