Golden Glory has to be the one of the toughest teams in the sport right now. I was watching The Reem and saw some sparring footage of Golden Glory and goddamn they go at it.
So its no surprise they can fight each other full blast but all this “nah bro he’s my homie and I aint down with that shit” is just getting old.
it doesnt seem any crazier than other teams. all teams have full contact practice day. maybe its just cause these guys tend to be on heavier weightclass size that they seem more badass. the lighter guys in jacksons camp go hard in the paint in practice.
machida has a chance against bones purely due to sparing with anderson.
theres no way those two have sparred that long without machida finding answers for that body frame.

haha yeah i get that. There’s always times when some guy thinks he’s a hot shot and you gotta put him in his place, but still I’ve never dropped an elbow on someone in practice. That’s what i’m saying…like you can fuck a guy up…but you’re not there trying to end his life. you’d be a pretty shit teammate if you were.
beating a guy up in front of his kid is pure class though! haha. i’ve done it a few times in my mens league for hockey. I smashed this one old man in front of his whole family once, with my whole family upstairs watching.
Sitting around at chirstmas or easter dinner and hearing the story from both sides on the ice and up in the bar is pure comedy.

One time during team practice we were wrestling hard (yes homo) and at one point my team mate put his hands up like he was going to punch me. You get caught up in the moment sometimes.
