it’s the UFC’s fault for playing up velasquez’s race in the promotion of the fight imo. brock isn’t the one that injected cain’s race into the thread.
He doesn’t and he never did. He completely relies on his size and strength and has little to no skill, both in grappling and striking. Anyone with good technical knowledge of mma realizes brock isn’t even of average skill, he lacks a solid base on the ground, his strikes have very little power behind them and he completely cowers after being hit. It was just a matter of time before people figured out how to exploit Brocks many weaknesses, I don’t see him touching the belt again in his career unless the belt is abandoned and he gets to fight another 50 yr old that should be in a lower weight division (yet still gets manhandled most the fight).

There’s no way anyone can say brock has any skill. Just look at the man’s performance last night. Closing his eyes when Cain punched at him, flailing around in panic mode at the slightest glancing blow, very little wrestling ability and NO jiu jitsu. The guy’s a joke and always has been, now that he’s been exposed he’s not going to win much more except against the tomato cans dana will probably give him.
