Yeah, I agree on Crazy Arcueid and Shiki Tohno being top tier!
I always thought Aoko was top tier, especially since everyone picks her. Probably because she is a new character!!
I get annoyed facing White Len, its either her cheap-ass moves, or her really annoying voice when you hit her:arazz:
you also gotta remember that that’s the rankings for version a. warc and shiki both got nerfed, and some of the weaker characters have been buffed so it’s a toss up right now. arcadia probably won’t come out with version b rankings until month or two after it’s ported to the arcades.
and yea, i think most of us want to play aoko cus she’s a new character. remember how everybody wanted to play order-sol (i didn’t but a lot of people did) when slash came out?
and aoko also has boobs.
Sion is horrible now. Warc is weaker. Shiki’s best tricks off his backdash are gone.
Meanwhile V.Sion and Nanaya are hella buffed, hisui got some upgrades, so did Mech Hisui.
Basically not to sound like a broken record, play the fucking game first.

What I also like about Aoko is her specials, they look freakin sweet especially her Arc Finish:bgrin:

d-ken is a good source for vids too since they showcase a lot of matches by gintoki and shonen a, both pretty well known aoko players. game chariot seem to have several pretty good aoko players also.

Tiny Kouma combo gimmick: after 2C in pretty much any string, you can tigerknee 236C and Kouma recovers fast enough that you can land and then jump up and airthrow or do j.C to whatever. Pretty good midscreen damage.

There’s something wrong with asking to know where everyone is on the damn tier list? I want to know and it makes no difference to me, I just always play Nanaya.
Game is great. I think I’ll play Aoko and Kohaku as my mains though. I read the posts from the past 3 pages and its good information thanks alot guys.

I just hope it doesn’t become a “only 3 characters are shown all the time” like those other fighters like 3s, MvC2, CvS2, XI, ect.
Its easy to notice if you see Tourney finals and all you see is 3 characters being used all the time in order to win.
By the look of it, it looks like everyone is pretty good.
I ordered from NCSX as well. This is pretty much the first time something like this has happened with any of my orders, they are usually very reliable. Ah well, the consequences of 9/11 and all that happy shit.
Man the game isn’t like a DAY OLD yet and people are already begging for tier lists.

What the hell is wrong with asking about a specific character or basics instead of ‘OMF WHO IS BESTEST’?
There’s no reason to ask for the tier list right now, or even two months from now, it’s a clean slate all over again. Sit down, fuck with everyone in the game, and ENJOY THE PROCESS OF LEARNING A DAMN GAME AND GETTING BETTER AT IT rather then having to base ANYTHING you do with a day old game on a tier list.
Why do people incessantly ask? Why do you need to know? What knowledge are you getting from a tier list when it’s new to all of us? If you’re going to play a top tier character, wait for it to be established later on and then cheese out then. For now, just fucking have fun.
How exactly did Nanaya get buffed? I’d really like to know considering that I haven’t really noticed anything substantially different about his stats (ie damage output is unchanged, and maybe his defense mod). What about his specials?
Also, I noticed that Hisui’s 4B has a lot less recovery than in FT. Not sure if anyone else noticed this but it’s not like anyone really uses the move in the first place.
As for the tiers, I really don’t care. The tier gaps are small enough so that just about any character can compete reasonably well against everyone else.
Now that I’ve found colors that I like for 2 of my characters, 3 more to go. xD
