Fuck, I haven’t played MB in over a year haha; so I’ll definitely spend quality time w/it after this post.
I’ve got a few more pages to read though :S

GImme some fucking tiers!!!
Give me a fucking break!!!
Play the damn game first before giving a shit about tiers.
Christ.
Neco Chaos XD?
How does one combo into Nanaya’s or Tohno’s 41236C? I ask for the novelty of it more than for any actual need to integrate it into my game.
I believe you can combo Nanaya’s 41236C if you cancel 623+A/B very quickly. This is regular heat mode super mind you.
I’m currently waiting for the game to arrive at my house today. C’mon, UPS truck…get here already!
Anywho, I have two questions:
lol ‘easily verifiable’? so eactly how did u test this info, cus having the circuit bar regenerate and switching back and forth from 299/max to normal is quite annoying. i tested 2 LAs to verify what you said and again you were correct (my bad). i refuse to test the others and i’ll just leave that to you or someone else whos not lazy.
i’ve read online that you can create as many floating starmines on screen as you want, and i have vid where aoko creates about 20-30 of them on top of akiha and detonate them at once to kill her (lol!). to be honest, i don’t know how it works either since all i can do right now is up to 4 with the chargeable and nonchargeable ones. could be some kind of weird corner glitch in version a? probably not something practical anyway…
anyhow, this is what i’ve gathered from some aoko bbs regarding her changes from version a to version b:
significantly improved
improved
worse
i get 6 mines w/ a orb (ground)>b orb (ground)>a orb (air)>b orb (air)>412a (hold button [c])>412a (continue to hold). now you should have 6 orbs/mines.
as for the 30 starmines, i think it has something to do with the opponent blocking a specific starmine that causes the limit to reset. not sure which one but when i test that out, i’ll post up.
well, u always have the option to remove recovery w/ an attack (preferably j[c] wiffed).
aoko note:
the recovering frames on her backdash is cancelable with any normal.
damn, i really need to learn the names of her specials already. orka’s hurting my head.
Can some one give me some Kouma BnBs??
Here’s how i did, set meter to 299 then set to normal, do an EX with P2 (dummy on manual) to down the meter, do some moves if you want to change the meter level to verify if it’s really 50% and then hit with something with P1 to go in max mode > blood heat > Last Arc, it doesn’t take a very long time to do.
I verify this with all characters to see if there was anything specific to any character, but it takes 50% with all. The only specific thing is as i said on Dustloop the fact that with Hisui the breaks occurs for the whole duration of the Neco stars, so you can’t use or get meter during that time.
You can also do this with Shiki Tohno off 623A near corner but that’s freking hard to do and doesn’t do so much damage.
A thing i noticed when reading the wiki, in the clash section, there no info on the fact that you can cancel instantly a move into anything when your clashing frames are hit by an active attack, i check to be sure it’s also in AC and not FT specific and you can do this in all versions. I think it’s woth adding it because a beginner maybe won’t find it before some time.

watch, watch, and watch some more.
sorry :wasted:
i’m noting things in real names right now cus i think it would make things much easier when people need to discuss things in the future. i thought that we might as well start on the right foot. at least aoko has mostly english (or kind of engrish, romanized) names for her specials.
here’s what i posted on dust loop yesturday:
specials
blowning starmine 236+attack
raining starmine (in air) 236+attack
blazing starmine 22+attack
floating starmine 214+attack, (in air) 214+attack, 421+attack
blowning starbou 63214+attack
keritobasu wayo~* 623+attack
aoko 1-2-3 6a, 6b, 6c
arc drives
severe break (in heat mode) 41236c
severe break slider (in blood heat mode) 41236c
last arc
gyakukou unga | sousei kounen** (in blood heat mode) ex shield while standing or crouching
as for abbreviation, people in japan often refer to blowning starmine as “wind”, blazing starmine as “fire”, raining starmine as “rain”, blowning starbou as “mirror”, and floating starmine as “orbs”. all of those could be pretty practical in our sense, too i think. also, keritobasu wayo~ seems to be often referred as “kick” or “the kick”.
EDIT:
it’s a little tough to find a suitable translation for gyakukou unga without making it sound awkward. literal word to word translation would be something to the lines of “reverse canal” (which sounds pretty stupid) but in context the more accurate translation is “reverse tide”, “reverse channel” or “reverse flow”.
also, blowning stabou could be “blowning starbough”, “blowning starbeau” or “blowning starbow”. but i don’t think it really matters, since none of them makes sense in english.
Bowning Starburst~
good stuff orka. im gonna study this stuff when i get the time (like not whoring aoko :lovin: ). aslo, isnt aokos blood heat 'severe break strider? thats what i got from the katakana i read. but you seem far more fluent than myself in the language so i could be wrong.
someone decipher the status display colors on training mode please.
all i know so far is:
red - no actions can be performed
blue - empty cancelable into noramal/special
green - cancelable into speacial/normal (?)
white (?) - jump cancelable (?)
it’s slider
Kouma (Start with or without 2a)
5B 2B 5C 2C 6C airthrow
5B 2B 5C 2C 6C j.C 236B 236B
5B 2B 5C 2C 6C j.C 236C
Opponent near corner:
5B 2B 5C 236C (wallslam)5A 2B Airthrow
You near corner:
214A (hold back until wallslam) 5C 2B Airthrow.
I’d put Kishima down as one of the games better beginner characters. High defense allows for more mistakes, his BNBs are easy and do fair damage, but he has awful air options.
His most Advanced techniques involve buffering dashes into 214A, and using 214D~C as his Bara cancel.
Edit: Blowning actually might be some kind of typo for “blowing”.
Just got this game
Pretty sweet!!
So what are the character tier list on this game?
#$&*!-ing airport security…
It seems I’m not going to get the game today like I was supposed to. Thanks to that new set of airport security rules we passed, the shipment of MBAC got held back and won’t be shipped to me until monday!:wasted: :annoy: :arazz:
I found this out since I just got an email about it from National Console Support, the online store I pre-ordered it from. It looks like the same thing happeded to play-asia as well. Where did all you guys who have the game already get it from? Did this screwup only happen to the store I used? ARRGHHHH!!!
I think Chibi already gave a good answer on this…
