ok so i went to a tournament today and played marlin for like an hour and it worked out but i ended up getting randomed out by damien and then losing to jrosa because i try to style too much … but i got to play people and i really like sent over doom big time … the matches will be put up in a few cuz it was on jaxels stream and he uploads as soon as he gets home … dont be too harsh on me guys >_<
Don’t worry, everyone thought my poor showing the other week was great XD Despite all the positive reinforcement, everyone here is still really good at constructive criticism. Can’t wait to see.
i didn’t use her vs damien since i dont like using my team vs dante/strider but yea i need to play at bums again i haven’t played with people since NEC >_>
So how do I make the most out of Jill’s neutral?

Hmm. Let me clarify. Neither of my assists have any presence past half a screen away. My team is Jill/Frank/Dormammu. What can I do neutral game wise to make sure Jill doesn’t get lamed out?
thats a rough team … but umm i would advise to switch dorm out for someone else … if you really want to keep him then these things still apply just close the gap like every character in the game does by moving up … but honestly you want a team that at least lets you play different characters on point to help with certain matchups
I’ve never thought about it that way, but I’ve seen you play before and you do that a lot, so that makes sense. I’ll have to look into that approach… That’s pretty cool.
Yeah, I’m seeing the error of this team already before even leaving the lab.
believe me it helps tons instead of just relying on out playing your opponent
Look for assists that cover Jill’s weaknesses (anti-air) and play to her strengths (lockdown). Having two of the same is redundant and gratuitous and only leaves you wanting.

Hey Jill community. I was the looking to try out a new character so what are tips on getting started with Jill. (this will justify me spending the 10 dollars on dlc)

I feel bad, like I’m giving faulty advice a lot of the time. I feel excited to help everyone who asks, but I really should just step down when I’m not truly positive on something. One day I decided I’ll make an account to post something; I made an account but haven’t posted until now. i had every intention to take a real jill team (almost certainly jill/dante/hawkeye) to the break weekly and try and get good enough to shake things up…
…and then i started playing mobas for some reason (-_-’ )and then i got into the “honeymoon phase” of a relationship and i havent touched marvel in so long i’m afraid to see how bad i’ve gotten…
…but i still maintain that original goal. regardless, i think 2013 may be a break out year for jill. there’s a lot of secret interest in the character and now there are a lot of not-so-secret resources for how to quickly get her up to speed.
