The Marvel Q & A - Rebirth

The show went downhill after Season 1. She startd to get WAYYYYY too
strong. I rmember she killed some demon that was really really huge
by bending over with the post she was tied to and killed it. BULLSHIT.
And the fight with the demon/android A.D.A.M.? More Bullshit. After that
episode, I stopped watching Buffy. After Season 2 of Angel I stopped watching as well. It lost it’s “dark savior drama”. It more comedic and
a lot more cast members than needed.

Anyways, I’m ranting so enough of that. What other stats has the book come out with? Anything on Ghost Rider?

Yeah, they have Power Ratings for all of the major characters. I’ll give you Ghost Rider’s Power Rating tommorrow. Any other requests?

Zarathos and Vengeance. That’s all for now…

One more thing. Marvel’s new chart left out some other stats.

Mental Powers, Agility, and Stamina. These stats are somewhat needed,
since Spidey for example does have a mental ability, is very agile as
opposed to the Thing, and can maintain peak performance for a good
length of time.

Just my two cents on it anyway.

My thoughts on Dante’s stats (Non-Devil trigger and Non-full Demon form)

Strength : 4

Roughly around Spidey’s level if not a little higher)

Durability : 4

Having multiple swords of large sizes impaled in him, he can take
it. Notice that he takes the hits and moves around just fine.

Speed : 2

He moves and runs at normal speeds.

Agility : 4

His jumps on walls, running along them dodging bullets in mid-air
definitely agile.

Energy Projection : 1

I’ve never seen him use energy attacks unless he’s a demon.

Stamina : 4

He can definitely fight and move at top condition for a long time.

Intelligence : 3

He knows a lot about demons and the like.

Fighting Ability : 4

Sword, guns of different varieties…I’d say he isn’t a master per say,
but he does show extensive combat training.

Mental Powers: 1

To my knowledge, he has no mental powers.

Mental Powers - Ability to use Psionic power

1 - No Psi-Powers : No mental powers
2 - Sixth Sense : Possessing a reactive, defensive mental ability
3 - Low Level Psi : Possessing a single weak mental ability
4 - High Level Psi : Possessing a single strong mental ability
5 - Psy/Telekinetic :Possessing a single highly toned ability, or many
multiple weak abilites
6 - Master Psionic : Possessing multiple developed mental powers
7 - All Seeing : Nearly infinite mental powers; Immeasurable

Stamina - Ability to perform at peak condition

1 - Below Normal Unable to sustain for a minute
2 - Normal Able to sustain for a minute
3 - Above Average Able to sustain for up to an hour
4 - Enhanced Able to sustain for several hours
5 - Superhuman Able to sustain for a day
6 - Metahuman Able to sustain for several days
7 - Immeasurable Never tires due to self-generating energy

Agility - Ability to maintain balance and movement of the body

1 - Below Normal Clumsy
2 - Normal Average
3 - Athlete Above average
4 - Peak Human Significantly above average
5 - Enhanced Human Beyond the natural limits of a human
6 - Superhuman Significantly beyond the limits of a human
7 - Metahuman Extrordinarily beyond the limits of a human

Psycho Mantis

mental powers 5

Dhalsim

mental powers 4 ( mind reading)

Rose

mental powers 5

SFA 3 M.Bison

metal powers 6

Cammy

agility 4

Vega

agility 4

Zangief

agility 3

I agree with the list.

GHOST RIDER (John Blaze and Dan Keitch, both Ghost Riders have the same exact Power Rating.)

Intelligence - 2
Strength - 4
Speed - 4
Durability - 5
Energy Projection - 4
Fighting Skills - 2

ZARATHOS (The being that possesed Blaze and Keitch to turn them into Ghost Riders.)

Intelligence - 2
Strength - 4
Speed - 4
Durability - 7
Energy Projection - 6
Fighting Skills - 4

VENGEANCE (Ghost Rider Villain)

Intelligence - 2
Strength - 4
Speed - 4
Durability - 5
Energy Projection - 4
Fighting Skills - 3

Nice. Thanks dude.

BTW, what’s Blackheart up to now? Marvel’s Hell continuity
is seriously fucked up, so I lost track of what they did
with him.

I have no idea. According to the Marvel Universe Books, he’s still out and about, no different. I think we have to wait until Dr. Strange gets started again to find out what’s up with Blackheart and Shuma Gorath. And knowing Starcynski, he’ll start his run by introducing new villains and stuff.

The last thing I heard about Blackheart, was that he’s the new king
of the Hellfire Club. Of course, that’s all I’ve heard.

As for Shuma, he’s a MAJOR villain, so they could use him in a major
crossover. Sigh, Wishful thinking though, Marvel would never do something that cool. They’d just reuse Thanos again.

Well, there’s gonna be a new new new Hellfire Club, so Blackheart won’t be a member of that anymore I bet.

God dammit Marvel.

Sigh Looks like I’ll never see Blackheart kick ass again.

So, the new Avengers team will be -

Captain America
Spider-Man
Spder-Woman - Jessica Drew
Iron Man
Wolverine
Luke Cage
Sentry

4 MVC2 Characters! Hooray! Two Spidey people is weird, but I guess there’s a back door to get rid of one when the roster changes again. And they promise Wolverine being here and in X-Men will be explained. And Thor’s out since he’s temporarily dead in his book and is going to go through a Afsgard thingy, but he’s prolly the first one that will show up once the roster changes.

Also, on the leading villains for the next Spider-Man Movie coming out in 2007 -

Venom - Fans, industry people, everybody wants Venom. Originally in Spider-Man 2, there was gonna be a seen where JJ Junior came crashing down to Earth on his Spaceship, Spidey saved him and the “suit” hitched a ride like the cartoon, but that was cut.

Norman Osborn as either the Green Goblin or Hobgoblin - Obvious from the Movie. Sam Raimi said he’s not sure if he wants to go this route just yet.

Sandman - A personal favorite of Sam Raimi.

Lizard - The other possibe villain from Spider-Man 2.

Manwolf, JJJ’s son mutated into a Wolf is a long shot.

Sam and Ted Raimi who both cowrote the Spider-Man Movie 3 treatment are keeping tight lipped about who the villain will be. Man, it’s gonna be a long 3 years…

I was really surprised that Marvel would make that the newest line up.

Sorry, rather than relying on my swiss cheese memory, I checked the Marvel Encyclopedia to see what’s going on with Blackheart. Szardos magically trapped him in the Hellfire Club’s Basement! Hopefully Marvel won’t drop the ball on this one when they re-introduce the new Hellfire club… Oh, who am I kidding. Of course Marvel’s gonna drop the ball on that one so they can introduce the “All New All Different” Hellfire Club. Sigh…

The son of Mephisto is trapped by a mortal? WOW…

Zarathos possessed Blaze, not Ketch. If your encyclopedia says that he possessed both, it’s bullshit. I remember that crappy ass midnight sons storyline where they “explained” it.

You mean MvC. There was no orange hulk in MSHvSF

For the most part I was being brief describing the character since he’s not in any of the Capcom Vs. Games but wrong is wrong. I’ll double check what it says exactly. It does mention him in both bios. Anyway, thanks! I always appreciate being corrected.

Since the Thread seems to have a few more people right now, it looks like it’s time to update the “what the cast of MVC2 is up to” list. I’ll give it a shot with the best of my ability. Most I know from reading their comics, others I’ll use Marvel Encyclopedias and Universe books to fill in the blanks. Some I have no freaking clue, but I’ll do what I can do and will be counting on others who’ve read the books I haven’t for corrections when needed.
