The Spider-Man Marvel Encyclopedia does have a rating for Cosmic Spider-Man and you were really close! For Speed and Energy Projection however, he got two 7s.
Might you explain who Cosmic Spider-Man is since there is little else going on in this thread at the moment?
Thinking the same…
I’ll have more info later, but basically, Spider-Man got Captain Marvel’s Powers for a while. The coolest thing he did I can remember was when he punched Grey Hulk into Outer Space! Hulk stayed floating in Outer Space while holding his breath, and Spider-Man flew out to Outer Space and brung him back!
Anyone gonna see Punisher today? I hope it doesn’t suck.
I’m going to go see it with a couple of friends. With all the marvel movies that had came out already, some bad, some good, I expect alot out of the Punisher movie. I hope it is to my delight.
No, I doubt that I will. I mean, besides never being a fan of the Punisher, the movie previews make him look far more heroic than I’m sure he acts in the comics and whoever is acting as him doesn’t look that gruff or grim enough for me.
Speaking of difference from the comic, I thought that he only had a daughter, not a son? Why would they change something as minor as that?
Otherwise, I think that I’m just going to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 today if my mother can get the tickets.
What time are you leaving?
All of us are going to see the movie late night. hmm, I better get prepared now since its 9pm. ( Actually 9:45 )
I’m gonna see the Movie at 7:50 tonight. Where I’m at in New York on the East Coast, that’s about 2 and a half hours from now.
Since Kill Bill 2’s gonna own the Weekend, I’ll see Punisher this Week and try to support Marvel instead. I’ll catch Kill Bill 2 next Weekend.
Unless Punisher sucks, then I’ll see Kill Bill 2 tommorow.
Punisher sucked! Kill BIll 2 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better.

Real Name: Peter Parker
First Appearance: Spectacular Spider-Man #158 (1989)
Hgt: 5’10"
Wt: 165 lbs.
In a carefully coordinated attack, the world’s most powerful criminals, tired of defeat at the hands of their regular opponents, launched a series of surprise assaults on each other’s foes. Consequently, Spider-Man was attacked by Graviton and soundly trounced, surviving only through good fortune and Graviton’s carelessness.
The next day, while assisting Dr. Maxwell Lubisch’s experiments into alternative energy sources, Peter Parker found himself inexplicably endowed with cosmic abilities - transforming him into the most powerful hero in the galaxy. Assailed by a series of villains, Spider-Man was the undisputed victor in each contest.
Ultimately, Spider-Man battled for the survival of mankind itself against the Tri-Sentinel - a massively powered robot created by the Asgardian trickster Loki. It was then revealed that Peter was in fact the holder of the Enigma Force, which transforms certain individuals into Captain Universe at the time of humanity’s greatest need. Having defeated the Tri-Sentinel, Spider-Man lost his newfound powers.
(Two things. I was wrong about saying Spidey had Catain Marvel’s power when it’s the Captain Universe Power. Oh, and I checked up on the Punisher’s back story in the Marvel Knights Encyclopedia. He had a daughter and a son, and they were both close in age but the daughter was a bit older.)

Its bone density is one of the greatest in the world and it has been recorded killing mountain lions and cattle with a single

Another Fact about the grizzly bear.
the force of it’s bite is 1800lbs per square inch.

I don’t think Ryu can lift 10 Tons given how he used his entire body to lift that huge boulder in Oro’s SF3 Third Strike Ending. He can probably lift 800 Lbs at best.
Quesada was asked in the last issue of Wizard if Marvel Comics had any continuity right now, given how Asgard is floating over New York and Magneto just destroyed New York, yet these two things are not sending ripples throughout the Marvel Universe. For example, Spider-Man’s New York is not destroyed nor has Asgard floating over it.
In a nutshell, he said that Stan Lee spoiled the fans by keeping a stricter continuity but back then they only had 20 to 40 titles. Now with more than 100 titles it’s not such an easy thing. What he wants is writers to create good stories weither it fits continuity or not, since Marvel will figure it all out later. Lately, writers are asking what’s going on in other books and there might be a bit more consisteny, but the question is if incorporating continuity will give you a good story. If not then screw it.
I say, SCREW QUESADA! BRING BACK CONTINUITY GOSH DARN IT ALL TO HECK!!!

the answer is
Power = strength x speed
A Four in strength means you can lift 800 lbs to 25 Tons, so Ryu still gets a four either way.
Umm… I’m going to have to disagree with a lot of this. There’s no proof for either your strength (though Belial is probably right), intelligence, durability (expect maybe Jedah and Belial), or speed rating.
Demitri beat Pyron not because of Demitri’s own strength, but because, at “heart”, Demitri is an uber-energy vampire and Pyron was composed of energy (if not entirely, mostly). Also, he’s proven again and again to be weaker than Morrigan, Jedah, and Belial, and I’m sure that strength is probably somewhat of a factor. While, Demitri is crafty, there’s no evidence that he’s a genius. You’re durability rating is wrong because he got his ass kicked by Belial so badly when Belial finally cut him off from the gate supply that Demitri spent a year having to just recover on Earth. He’s at least a four though, I mean, he “overcame” the weakness to sunlight by creating his own personal power shield. As for his speed rating, again, there’s no evidence. If you mean by way of the Gate, which he traveled through once, the Gate is no his own creation and he can neither call into being on a whim nor pass through it easily.
Morrigan. Again, no proof of strength. She definitely probably has superhuman strength, but I doubt it’s that much. No proof of intelligence, durability, energy projection, or speed either.
Jedah. No proof strength, speed, or energy projection. Hell, Jedah doesn’t even seem to use that much energy compared to Morrigan since all his attacks are through that pseudo-blood that’s he composed out of. The pseudo-blood is the reason that I agree with your durabilty rating. Well, that the fact that he’s been killed before. Speaking of his death, he obviously no a genius if his own servant tricked him so easily.
Belial. I disagree with everything listed because he’s so damn enigmatic in terms of power besides being the most powerful. Of course, the only I disprove is that he’s not omniscient or else he would have never let Demitri get to the Gate in the first place. Also, it wouldn’t have taken him any time to figure out that Demitri had been using the Gate against him their battle.
I’ll add my own for character later today probably.
I’ll do a Power Rating for Chun-Li just for fun.
Strength - 3 - Given a few art pieces of Chun-Li training in the weight room and such, I thinking she can probably lift twice her own body weight.
Intelligence - 3 - Nepitism will only get you so far. She has to be a bit learned to become a Detective in Interpol at such a young age.
Durability - 2 - Normal. There’s no way to gauge this one really so I’ll go with normal.
Energy Projection - 5 - Her Fireballs never seem Longe Range, except for her one handed SF3 Fireball and even that is pretty small compared to other SFers, so she gets Medium Range.
Speed - 2 - Normal. She’s fast, but I don’t think she’s Superhuman Fast.
Fighting Skills - 5 - She’s a Master of Kung Fu and by SF3 she even becomes an Instructer.
I took a look at everything. I couldn’t disagree with the power ratings on Chun-li sano did.
Maybe the Durability is questionable, but normal neverless I would guess…
