Cought up on the Spider-Man Marvel Knights books. Man, I thought Scorpion with the Venom suit was gonna look like some freaky combination with the symbiote over his robot suit like ‘Monster Ock’ from Activision’s first Spider-Man video game (Doctor Octopus + Carnage’s symbiote) but no. It was just Gargon wearing the symbiote, no Scorpion suit underneath, and Spidey beat him up quickly reminding him he’ll always be a looser. :tdown: Now give Eddie Brock back the symbiote already if you are gonna miss golden oportunities like this darn it! Sagaryu - Ya got that right! Bram Stroker’s book ties in to Castlevania. It’s the same guy except Castlevania adds stuff like explaining his origin (the book doesn’t) and making him a king of one of the dimensions in Hell when he’s not on Earth. The Sega Genesis game really plays up on the book, saying the Texan that was there to destroy Dracula was a Belmont descendant.

"SS just appeared in Rogue #7 - Forget me not (part 1 lf 6). It seems that he will play one of the main roles in this story.
The Plot: Tokyo’s main newspaper printed a story that detailed the ties between the family of Shiro Yashida a.k.a. Sunfire and Yakuza. Including evidence that Sunfire’s cousin Shingen Harada, was a Tokyo crime boss, his uncle, Tomo Yoshida, was an anti-american terrorist and allegations of Sunfire’s own involvement in criminal enterprises overseen by another cousin, Keniuchio Harada a.k.a. the Silver Samurai.
One of main evidence is a photo of Sunfire, Mystique and Rogue on some old japanese boat smiling to each other. But Rogue and Sunfire don’t remember anything about that place…
Sunfire’s sitting in his office and already drunk. He decided that the only way to avoid a disgrace is to perform hara-kiri(honorable suicide.) Then SS appeared behind him and they had a little conversation. Nothing really special except one SS phrase: “I would have come even if you did not summon me. That so-called “news” story sent shock-waves through the Yakuza. They wonder why the reporter focused on you, when I was the one who sought control of clan Yashida.”
Sunfire asked SS to be his second. But Rogue called and interrupted them. And convinced Sunfire not to do something stupid till she arrived in Japan. Sunfire asked SS to arrange a flight for Rogue. When the plane came to pick up Rogue, she was attacked by Lady Deathstrike. Rogue tricked her and got on the plane to Japan. On the last page of that issue SS talked with some lady that stayed in shadow in a locked room with some bullet-proof door.
LADY: Well…? You gonna tell me if Madame manicure nailed Rogue, or what?
SS: She said the treacherous girl managed to evade her. She sounded very… cross.
LADY:I Knew it! Rogue always was harder to kill than she looked.
SS: If Deathstrike sought to kill your friend instead of merely capture her, then we would not be having this conversation. In any case, Rogue is coming here to Japan, presumably to confront my cousin Shiro. And she will find us waiting."
From sano - Rogue’s up to issue 8, not sure what happened after this but at least Silver Samurai’s definitly alive and well. And so is Lady Deathstrike since last we saw her Bishop only found her arm in a pile of rubble. :tup:

In even more unrelated stuff, the comic that will come out before the new Video Game from EA “Marvel Nemesis: The Imperfects” will feature the Thing, Elektra, Spider-Man and Wolverine. With those four featured in the comic they are almost locks for the upcoming game. With all of EA’s money, I wonder if they could get Tobey Mcguire, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Gardner or Chitklis (However you pronounce his name) to voice the four since they play them in the Movies.

Oh, Northstar’s corpse in regular continuity’s been kidnapped, Hydra brung him back to life evil! That’s basically Wolverine’s plot, he’s brainwashed and killing people so Hydra can bring them back evil and brainwashed like they did to Elektra long ago, and once again in this book. So in regular continuity Northstar’s still alive, too bad for X-Men: The End and Age of Apocalypse realities he ain’t, oooh… still, three deaths in one month, that’s gotta be a record of sorts…
Anyway, I was quite pleased to see two of my favorite Spider-Man villains no one remembers, The Spot and Slyde appear in Wolverine! Now if I could just get Marvel to remember the last two living Upstarts Sienna Blaze and Gamesmaster…
as long as your Favorite spiderman villains aren’t these guys.

Note: It still piss me off that the Jugguernaut got beat by a bunch of Werewolves ( if they keep do things like this to him they my as while just start calling him the stoppable Jugguernaut!).
ps: I also think Darkseid and Jugguernaut are the characters who were the most screwed over by their respect companies.
