I still think its a bit overrated film, i think Knockabout is a far superior Yuen Biao film. I do like the ending though, when Frankie Chan just got his ass beat & started saying how good Yuen Biao is & heās like I dont need your praise does a flip while grabbing his jacket.

Ok but for the record, Dragon the bruce Lee story, was chock full of entirely made-up, overly-dramatized bullshit and it was still very well-received. Despite being billed like it was true story.

I never said people were unaware it was a dramatization. It clearly was and a blatant one at that.
The point is, it was still very well received. It holds a crazy high score on rotten tomatoes.
Prodigal son had a way better script imo. Just watched Killzone 2 with my gal. Boy she was crushing on Zhang Jin a little to hard. Glad he got got.
That was the 90ās, the Bruce Lee e$tate is still peddling the myth rather than tell the story of the man.

Dunno how you guys rated the 3rd movie, I thought it was kinda lame his Ip Man who should have been like 70 by point fighting Mike Tyson and his bitch ass students protecting schools and not getting laid n shit. It was what it was but common Ip Man is done, there is nothing he can do now than just pass down knowledge.
Ill take a Bruce Lee movie off this, like a proper cha cha street punk Lee learning proper Wing Chun and putting the shoes to dudes before Ip Man succumbs completely to the pipe.
