Well to be honest it looks about as shit as I feared it would. Absolute fucking garbage, no spark of the original, MA down the pan, hip hop soundtrack, JCVD barely holding on to relevance, antagonist looks like a gimp, protangist looks like a lost hitchhiker. All in all, absolute fucking garbage. Straight to the 10 cent bin.

Dragon Blade is cheesy in a good way. The beginning where the girl’s breasts accidentally falls into his hands is so hilarious.

Edit: Also anyone else find it slightly ironic that Darren Shahlavi’s last movie before he died, is a movie he died in? Sad. He was a very talented action star, even if he never hit it big in the mainstream.

Caught the first episode of JCVJ, it was great! JC spoofing himself works surprising well.
Am still pissed at how bad that kickboxer remake was. The only connection to the OG it has is a bad guy called Tong Po and the Sloan brothers, everything else is irrelevant.
Props for GSP tho, guy basically portrays the RL version of me.
