The Martial Arts Movie Thread 2017 Donnie hates his fans

  • in China. If there was a Wong Fei Haung movie, it would have decimated Star Wars 7.

That expression he makes from 0:41 especially the eyebrows looks so authentic though. Feeling so emtional now, it’s like he’s still alive.

Is that Bruce Lee scene actually part of Ip Man 3 or just promo? Im not excited to watch it anymore.

Part of the movie apparently. I feel like they missed a huge opportunity. Donnie can’t make Ip Man movies forever so the natural continuation of this franchise would be to continue it with Bruce Lee. Instead of this charismatic child actor who had to work hard for everything he earned and overcame we get a kid who looks like he’d take out most adults already and the only thing he needs to train is his speed. Sends completely the wrong message, what happened to the 10,000 hr rule? Bruce would roll in his grave.

Didn’t he learn Tai Chi when he was still a child? As far as I know he also knew various other forms of southern martial arts besides wanting to learn Wing Chun.

chinese pride never die.

lol true, the myth is the man for them (for lots of people *).
Side note * I still come across people that believe that ping pong video is really Bruce Lee and he was killed by a family curse >_<

nah theirs an article floating around from last summer that popped up again fuckin up facts. hes in rogue one…which predates the current trilogy, but i could see him pop up in episode 8 but theirs no validity to it just yet.

Donnie Yen talks about Ip Man 3, his Star Wars role, and a little about his initial reluctance to take on the lead role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.

Holly molly, Donnie Yen will really be in the next Star Wars movie. I thought it was one of those internet jokes or something.

So I’ve been watching the Lucky Stars series. First films I’ve seen of Sammo Hung, and I’m enjoying them. Right now, I finished Winners and Sinners and My Lucky Stars, and now onto Twinkle Twinkle, My Lucky Stars. I’m not sure if I’m watching the films in the proper order, though I was confused on why John Shum wasn’t in My Lucky Stars. However, I did learn about Michiko Nishiwaki, who is* ripped*. That said, I found out about the films from this music video.

Lucky Stars is one of the movies that got me heavy into HK cinema back in the day, classic flick.

New Ip Man 3 trailer, now with added hip-hop flavor.

Small alley fight scene from The Masterļ¼ˆåø«ēˆ¶ļ¼‰2015.

Yo watched Warrior King 2 on netflix…

What a pile of steaming dogshit, cant believe after seeing Ong Bak for the first time I thought this guy was gonna usher in a new era of bad ass MA movies. RZA needs to stay the fuck away from movies, nobody interested in seeing his black ass fuck things up for everybody.

Has anybody seen Ip Man 3, I had the chance but decided to go see The Revenant instead.

Is this available for dvd/bluray/stream?

You fucked up son

Not that I know of, it was shown just last month so there probably won’t be DVDs yet.
