A quick update on the circumstances of Darren Shalavi’s death
He apparently got hit with the Goku heart attack. Scary to see how someone who is that healthy can still have it.

This is the family sharing the facts of the report and not an actual look at the report? That ASVD is not to be fucked with, in the UK there has been a few footballers recently who died on the field due to it, football players might be the fittest guys in sport the amount of sprinting involved.
Shame what happened to the dude, even if he did enjoy the drink its no way for a guy like that to go out.
Was watching random Kung Fu flicks, and I was blown away by this movie Sun Dragon (A Hard Way to Die). I guess I haven’t seen other blacks in martial arts movies from that era besides from Jim Kelly. Either way the film is good.
Just finished watching Kingsman. That church scene was on point. The way they filmed the fights was weird, but I enjoyed them either way.
^^ There’s a video of the IP MAN 3 press conference:
Wu Jing and Tony Jaa taking it easy.
I think we talked about this movie in this thread or the old one. Looks like it’s a straight to DVD/Blu Ray release but I still want to see it.
Dropped off my old roomate to the airport the other day. He’s working on Ip Man 3 for stunts right now. I’m so jealous… :’(
lol i compete against some of the people in that movie.
Phillip Rhee still making movies?
more like bootleg of EVERY FUCKING KIDS MOVE IN THE 90S
Theres a new book out ‘Life of Action’ features a bunch of interviews with the industry’s most talented features Scott Adkins, Donnie Yen, Dolph Lundgren, Tsui Hark and Andy Lau. Its for those wanting to get in the action movie industry or those that have an interest in the behind the scenes stuff, what it takes to survive etc. http://mikefury.net/lifeofaction/
About time! Was hoping for a theater release.
Well, you know what that means: you’ll be able to watch it for free the week it releases.
Anyone here ever seen the Best of the Best movies? Mainly part I & II?
I recently revisited these for the first time in years! Forgot how much i loved them. Eric Roberts at the best he has EVER been.
The first movie is basically a martial arts tournment drama. Very well done, and even stars James Earl Jones as the team coach. The ending is amazing! Many manly tears were shed in that scene.
The second flick departs from that into typical hollywood action/cage fighting but, is also really good. That fight at the end, as well as the brawl through the casino was, was pure awesome.
Best of the Best probably one of my favorite Martial Arts films in the USA behind Karate Kid. That’s why im really excited for Underdog Kids.
Fists of Legend is really good film as a drama. The intro has some decent MA stuff but after that it gets into MMA stuff that isn’t that good, still the film is excellent. Highly recommended.
Thanks.
Man with the iron fist 2 is on Netflix. I’m finding it hard to get through this movie.
Has anyone ever looked into buying distribution rights to a martial arts movie that is out of print? Like an old Kung fu film that wasn’t popular. I think people can do that. I’ve been curious about maybe buying one and re releasing it. I know someone who did that with a book. Just wondering what the process is.
