Rockroth is relatively recently back into movies, wtf she wasnt in E1 ~ 3 ill never know. Hyper called it, those 2 chicks fighting away would be hot as fuck, all uses of the word included.
Rock being in an Expendables movie can just fuck off tbh, I thought the deal was giving older action stars a new break, I know that trend is over due to the last one but common Rock has shit movies that are basically b movie version of what stallone/arnie did back in the day anyway.
Adkins was in E2 and got killed by chopper blade to the head doe, if they were gonna ressurect anybody Gary Daniels deserves it more, he is a legit martial arts legend and I love how good he looks now that he added a few stones of muscle. If he made Fist of the North Star these days it would be outta the world.
I remember Adkins getting fucked up in E2, but I think he wasnāt used properly. Well really E2 just sucked. I really am surpried Carl Weathers is not in it yet. I mean he was Apollo Creed and he was in the original Predator and he was Action fucking Jackson⦠I would have tossed him in over Ford or Grammar tbh. And if they were going to add a female, then add Rothrock as her counter. I see why they had Banderas, but then they should have his counter (Danny Trejo).
Honestly I could go on and on about how the Expendables series should go, but the simple fact that it is PG-13 lets me know it will be mad corny.
Yea there is a defo shout for Carl Weathers to be in there but there is only 1 actor that I want to see, not only the greatest black actor but the best actor of all timeā¦
Danny Glover!
Fight me niggas I know he is old as fuck now, but he was in lethal weapon franchise and killed the urban predator ALL BY HIMSELF
Expendables going pg13 is basically the death of the series (for me at least) as a legit guilty pleasure for 90 mins of OTT action. Love seeing Mel Gibson in the last one but the movie sucked as with the young team comming in and fucking everything up. New nigga computer hacker⦠Dolph Lundren got the arm computer on and uses it for weather⦠nearly cut my own throat it was that bad.
Only good thing about pg13 is a much higher chance of Jacky Chan intervention, we all know this corny motherfucker isnt up for the violence, ironic nigga beat more heads than hollywood put together, but theres that.
No doubt Crump is talented, but what about him makes him better than some of the indie action guys on youtube? He looks stiff in some parts of his fights with Jaa
I would like to see Eric Jacobus and Mike Mollier land some big roles as well. They do good work. And what happened to Bradley James Adam? He was a beast in Gorgeous.
Speaking of Cynthia Rothrock, she did a mockbuster of The Expendables 3 called Mercenaries (aka Prison Raid). It also includes: Kristanna Loken,Brigitte Nielsen,Vivica A. Fox,Zoƫ Bell and Nicole Bilderback. It came out 3 days ago.
Took a long break from keeping up with the films but Im planning on starting to work on my film collection again.
You guys know some other good martial arts cop films? And any korean martial arts films? Well it doesnāt have to be from Korea but anyones with good Tae Kwon Do showcasing
Last decent HK movie with modern setting was probably Fatal Move tbh, though thats kinda getting old (2008), you also cant go wrong with the Detective Dee movies I found them pretty awesome.
You also can already get perfect copies of Once Upon a Time in Shanghai, that Philip Ng nigga has some pretty respectable TKD thrown into his kung fu, plus the movie is defo worth a watch.
Korean MA films
Spin Kick- its about a group of terribad students who join the Taekwondo school team. Very anime like, feel good sports film.
Fighter of the Wind - Korean guy goes to Japan, becomes Ryu & challenges all the Japanese masters.
Fists of Legend - A tournament that invites past bad ass fighters from high school to compete in their 40s. Really good film about friendship & regrets.
Once Upon a Time in High School - One of my fav movies, its a coming of age film. Really not much action but the ending is good.
Best of the Best - You probably seen this but if you havenāt this is a must watch. Team USA trains to fight Team Korea. Stars Phillip Rhee & Eric Roberts, this movie was in the late 80s.
I think Crump has the action chops to do great fight scenes (he did train under Panna). I think since people are still high on Jaa and Uwais (granted I feel the latter has more entertaining fights) that it is hard to see some up and comers. But honestly Iād like to see how they all work together. I mean we have seen Zaror and Adkins (U3) and Crump and Jaa (TYG2). I really want to see Uwais, Cecep and Ruhian do some scenes with the guys mentioned before. oh and we canāt forget about Crowder either.
not sure if I posted this here. but The homie over at Film Combat Syndicate listed his casting for the Enter the Dragon remake. All I will say is that Batista should be nowhere near this.
@maxxā hey man, too bad this isnāt on the east coast.

east coast tends to have the most raw gatherings. we may not have all the cool celebs and superstars but east coast trickers are the originators of a tricking gathering.
