You and me both bruv! gareth Evans basically said this will take off like 3 hours after the first movie ended. Maybe he is planning on making it a trilogy? Also there is another movie he has Iko uwais and the other guys from the Raid working on. It should be really good.
My favourite Jet Li fight scenes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rvr-SP3EEXI (I dont think the guy doing the crazy kicks after the 1min mark was jet but I may be wrong)
Iâm looking high and low for Tom Yum Goong 2âŚincredible, this shitâs locked down harder than Battle Of The Gods wasâŚ
When I studied Wing Chun we called it a reference point, itâs basically just a starting position for the fight (there probably is an official name for this position but I donât recall it). Chi Sao has itâs own reference point depending if you are doing double arm, single arm or legs.
Just watched that today. Loads better than the first, though the acting is meh at best, i enjoyed some of the fight scenes.
Donnie Yen takes on the role of Monkey King in this film. First video is the English trailer, second one is the Chinese version.
saw ninja 2. didnt see the first one, as at that time i was like wtf is this ninja assassin early rip off. they both came out around the same time. i think i watched part of it, and was like, cool, but not enough fancy mystical ninja shit for me.
ninja 2 was awesome though. it just reminded me of watching some good ole 90s martial arts shit. i guess ive gotten too cynical over time and picky, so i either watch 80s and 90s martial arts/kung fu movies, or i just dont give a shit. but also post crouching tiger era martial arts movies havent really been that great imo.
anyways, it was great, fast and fun martial arts, decent acting, and just straight to the point. nice little low budget flick. i hope to see the day when martial arts movies start to get some shine again. its not cool to be masculine these days though, unless in a non violent, still pretty boy kind of way. the internet is great, and i hope to see it eventually be powerful enough to get scott into some big budget films as a co star at least.
all these millionaires and billionaires wasting their time funding horrible movies. one of dem fools need to resurrect the martial arts genre, but i guess that might be hard when kids would rather play games and on their computers, then be inspired to learn martial arts because they saw the ninja turtles. lol. i guess i was the last of that generation of martial arts enthusiast. i mean theyre still there, but the passion isnt there anymore. where when i was growing up, every shopping center had a fucking martial arts studio there. kids and teenagers were flocking in drones to learn how to kick ass, and parents didnt mind because it gave them a couple hours off from watching those little turds. lol. i literally had 3 in about a mile and a half distance from my house. one of the ninja turtles stunt dudes was actually a teacher there too. not sure if it was from nt1 or 2. whatever. those shits disappeared pretty quickly by the early 2000s, similar to how arcades came crumbling down quick. those beautiful 80s and 90s and all the glorious martial arts schools all over the place.
The Monkey King looks good but im having a really hard time picturing Donnie Yen as that role.
I was going to watch Ninja 2 but my mom spoiled it for me & ended up returning before watchingâŚBut its cool that its Netflix now, ill probably check it out.
Donnie Yen is the Sam Jackson of martial arts movie.
lol 10 min into ninja 2 and realized i knew the wild haired asian mugger. lol charlie, met him years ago when i first started tricking. met him at a gathering in nyc back in 2004.
I figured I should post this here since he and his company basically made martial arts movies what they are.
RIP Run Run Shaw (co-founder of Shaw Brothers studio). He died of cancer at age 107.

Man responsible for Golden years of Hong Kong cinema. RIP
So here is a choreo clip with Joe Taslim for the new film The Night Comes for Us. Looks really promising.

Was really entertained by Ninja 2. Definitely the action movie of the year for me. Final fight was also everything iâve wanted out of a fight scene
Iâm talking 2013 cuz I got to go to an early screening of it
Iâm so late to the party on the The Raid 2 trailer but oh man both of them are so good. Can someone get me a gif of that last bit in the longer trailer when the guy inches over before throwing a punch?
Ninja 2 for those who havenât seen it.
edit: meh, its not that hard to find.
btw it wasnât me who uploaded it.
booo go pay for it like a real man! this aignt no big studio funded movie. im bout to report your ass.
And it showsâŚ
Anyway anyone in Asia seen this yet?
It finally came out today in theatersâŚ
Also I wonder which one is going to go more hard, Raid 2 or Police Story 2013
