He likes playing skinny dudes with short hair and cheap thus the purpose for lee on his team
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been out of town. Panda has a general idea, Happy Medicine and Jakob Davis are two different people. I use these events to have fun and get away from what I have to deal with IRL. I was raised differently than most people due to situations beyond my control and wasn’t really taught “the ways of the world” so to speak. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve done some socially awkward things over the past few years and since it’s accepted by most people that I’m a little “different”. I exaggerate it far worse than it actually is in the FGC lol. My trolling of you guys was just practice for what I plan to do to the “E-Sports celebrities” in the coming months.
I enjoyed my time in TN, the hospitality was great, Game Galaxy is an awesome place to play, met some really cool people, and it was one of the more well run tournaments I’ve been to for sure. My complaints are stuff like I mentioned, hogging the setups, and the “casual vibe.” The fact that you guys have quire a few players and an ARCADE to play at. (Something that I’d LOVE to have here in New Orleans) is more than enough for you to step y’all game up. The game has been out for 4 years now, there’s no reason that EC/WC should be far above everyone else at this point. I have the same complaint with Texas as well. The internet has EVERYTHING you need to become a top player, a little community effort is all that a scene needs.
That’s it for out of character posts. xD
Where is it at exactly? Richard works Friday, so let him know on here…
I’ll be there about 630pm with 360 + TTT2 Kang Marvel and SF play whatever on it I’ll be on that Tek
all this xcocks with tekken, tsk tsk
Martins watch is probably sitting next to the Narc setup.

Tekken in an Xbox is like saying: “My next sentence is the truth. My previous sentence is a lie.”
Also, Ernie and I will be there tonight with Tek on PS3 and a PS2 copy of GGAC+
Well I feel like I’ve become quite a player for having not just played AE, but just fighting games in general for about 9 months now AND caring for a newborn baby the entire time. Point is, I haven’t had much time to devote to this game. And Jason made a post a while back giving excuses for why our scene isn’t as strong as it should be. That’s just what they are, excuses, but it just so happens that they’re all true and legitimate reasons as to why our personal growth isn’t as good as it should be. When you come back, hopefully we can show you differently. We’re still developing. It won’t be too long before we’re all sponsored by Game Galaxy (prefix being GG) and the army of Nashville natives: Neoblood, Squirts McGirk, Arson, Graham, Zeth, Ragnarok, Negro Justice, Boom Cube, Thunderbunny, Asian Phil, and Milln will be taking majors at a city near you.
GGs to everyone at Fight Night yesterday
GGs to Neoblood just now on XBL
Squirts: We’ve had people here place really well in tournaments for as little as they have played in contrast to the rest of the country (including majors) BoomCube got Top 16 at Final Round last year, I think Negro Justice got top 16 (or 32?) at Season’s Beatings…I don’t even know how many tournaments Wootsick, Josh, and Eugene have won; I’ve only entered 5-6 tournaments since SF4 and done really well in all of them (or won, last one was 5-2 at EVO losing to Momochi and a Top 16 at Final Round this year Zangief which I found out after the fact) with the limited amount of time I have to invest.
Yes, they are excuses and legitimate reasons why we aren’t traveling the country and not working, but there is a huge difference between “real life excuses” vs “I let him win” “he lamed me out” “my joystick/controller broke” “I don’t know that matchup, etc” The latter being the one I get told to me a lot even though we live in the You Tube age and I don’t play like anyone on You Tube.
Point is, the hungriest person here “was” Josh who could devote the most time to the game, but I am not sure he is that into it anymore…either way, we’ll still keep throwing tournaments and getting people to the Game Galaxy Comboratory…
@Squirts: Adding on to what Jason said, we were also a force in other games too. I won/placed top 3 in many Marvel tournaments consecutively, and Boomcube was right up there with me for a while. Outside of FR, I placed first in 4 different SC5 tournaments. Memphis had KoF locked down, and is probably dominating Tekken too. TN is far from free, and we’re already developed.
Btw, everybody… If anybody is thinking about traveling to a tournament make sure to let me know. I don’t care if it’s a major, or just a 16 man tournament somewhere. I think I’ll be able to travel around the Southeast for tournaments with this new job here in a few months so keep me posted.
I always wondered why a dude named Astaroth was only playing Marvel… Btw, you going to that Murfreesboro tournament on the 3rd?
Haha, everyone always says that. No one in mid TN plays SC5, but it still gets decent numbers in majors. SC5 is easily my favorite fighter and the one I’m most skilled in. I just never get to show it. lol
As for the Murfreesboro tournament on the 3rd, I’ll try to make it. I might not have the money for it.
GGs tonight I had so much fun playing Guilty. I’ll be picking it up again next week when my schedule clears. I’ll probably still main Pot (too much muscle memory with that character) but I’ll be trying out other chars. Game is too good!
First Fight Night at new venue and first taste of Tekken Tag 2. Got to say I’m hooked and Skinny Bob is the Merc of the game. Ggs to all I played. Jas, still did not get the match yet. Watch my Paul and Skinny Bob give your team a beat down in Mash O vision. LOL!!!
Smh, I lost to johnny 5/0 (good shit nutsak) its a sign, the world is telling me something, i’m done with tekken.
Peace
5-0…!? LOL c’mon man, I know you can play better than that.
GGs to everyone at fight night. New venue is pretty nice. Seems like it should work long term and is pretty central for everyone
Welp Johnny I see you retired Jas from Tekken…good for you. Oh and btw I know this is complicated but there is a tag button right, and when your low on life or whatever you can tag your partner in by pressing it…dont hold it now I know this gets confusing but just p.r.e.s.s the button. There you go scamp
Rukus- Thank you for defending the gate…and ice cream lol
Max: Kuni is gay and is now in the same tier as that monkey bitch from VF5. Any time I see her is pure rape mode. Good stuff though.
So you’re going to quit the game, because you lost a Ft5? LOL. You know what I want to say to you right now right?
Plus I told you all that Nutsaks wasn’t “slaw”. Stopping by gatherings ever so often and getting matches against the actual scene, or even just spectating and asking questions, goes a LONG way. More than you all seem to comprehend no matter how many times I try explain this. And he has game now and is playing it. I told you to move past that set y’all had in T6 awhile ago. Can’t sleep on people.
It’s a process, involving YEARS of ass beatings. No immediate success to be had whatsoever in this game. You can’t practice mode, play against a human once a week, then say, “I’m ready.” Without any kind of past foundation or knowledge. It isn’t possible. Not in Tek.
Ggs to dream, i hope they tweak that netcode. Most games it feels like I’m playing reload on the old xbox. I look forward to playing people in person at this coming fight night though.
