As for super bowl weekend TVs, don’t quote me but I’ve heard MANY ppl buy those TVs specifically for that event then return them the next day, which lessens the value, so the stores then sell them cheaper.
But its a steal since the TVs were only used for a few hours, they’re essentially still new
some of my favorite 90s tv hotness is on right now—“Gina & Pam” are hosting the Soul Train Awards right now…and hellll yeah I’d still ravage the HELL out of them. Tisha picked up a little weight and I don’t even care…she’d still get that fine old ass ATE.
I think a few stores are now having a restocking fee on TV now just because of that very reason.
I suppose that could deter ppl depending on how much each store’s restocking fee is

Most Brick and Mortar stores make very tiny profit margins on big ticket items like Big screen TVs and Computers, like the order of $15 to $50 at the most.
Most Sales happen as the manufacturer lowers the wholesale price so the Retailer can still make a thin profit margin.
I’m wondering a follow-up question here in regard to the TVs. Is Black Friday a better time to get them than Superbowl time? Someone said SB was like a second Black Friday. I’m wondering if the actual BF is the best. For context, I’m looking for a good 50 inch under 300.
Some models are just made for BF with either second parts are main stream models coming down. Like other have suggested check out bfads.net for all the possible tv sales on Thanksgiving Thursday/Black Friday. If not super bowl time is around the time when they are trying to get rid of 2019 stock to make way for the 2020 models announced at CES.

we got in from Arlington around 10pm last night, and immediately walked in to my puppy being out of his crate and trash from one side of our living room and kitchen to the other. Missus and I spent well over half an hour cleaning up the mess he made, and with us originally having plans in a couple week’s time to go back to Dallas and do most of our Christmas shopping on Thanksgiving weekend (and staying overnight), we came to a determination that the cute Latina neighbor from next door didn’t do what we asked her to, and probably will not watch our dogs overnight again. We modified our shopping plans from a weekend stay to a day trip on Saturday the 30th (with a presumed early af leave time).
I only work one day this week. Which is Thursday. But I’m still getting paid for a full work week. Kinda stoked about that.

However, the USA has gotten so soft over time that a spank on the ass is likely going to get you charged for child abuse. The kid could be an 8 year old who spams fuck and nigga, while also being a complete shit head but we have to “calmly” talk to them in a respectful way.
