The Lounge: McRib Jacuzzis and D!#% Hygene

We’re heading to Midland today, playing there tonight, and then McKinney on Tuesday. You’re in El Paso right? This state is absolutely huge, I didn’t realize just how big it truly is until we started plotting out some of the tour.

haha, yeah and another layer of the comedy there…at least if he is to be believed —the cat isn’t even really “new”, supposedly. He claimed to have “Jasper” already for months before the announcement. Naturally some of his fans that donated felt pissed off… they paid this man money…so he could announce that he has had a cat for the past few months. Fast-forward to today… Jasper barely ever shows up on stream… the fans don’t even get to see him that often.

So yesterday I was shopping at a Target when I was crossing through the electronics section of the store and some mom was requesting a video game with her kid but there was no one around to open the cabinet with the games in it. She asked me if I knew and then proceeded to mention that she wanted the new COD game for her son.

I glanced at the little booger, and then I looked back at her and asked, “Do you REALLY think he should be playing these kind of games at his age?”

“What do you mean?”

“Because this game is about a bunch of dudes shooting each other. I mean, LOOK here ma’am, it says MODERN WARFARE, and also has this shiny little thing points at the M rating THIS will give you a pretty big hint that this game is NOT for minors”

“Oh…so I guess that would be a NO from me. Thank you so much!”

So they start to walk away while the kid flashes me the murder glance, while I just smile and wink.

Lantis, making a better world for your kids while at the same incurring their wraith

This is one of his most recent events, where he begged for $1,800 in tips, achieved it, then set another goal of $500 the next day.

This is the one thing I truly miss about working at GameStop. Telling the parent or guardian about the ESRB and The soul crushing glance filled with murderous intent I’d get from the child that followed after being told no was always the highlight of my day.

Priceless

I wonder how much of that is claimed for taxes?

I’m just amazed as just how much shit kids can get away with it nowadays, especially when it comes to exploiting the ignorance of their parents. I’ve always been under the impression that children are not always as innocent and naive as society may have you believe. Some of them are FULLY AWARE of the influence they have and their surroundings. A little reality check won’t hurt the little fuckers.

Batman’s Greatest moments:

Norm Breyfogle’s Artwork (RIP)

He worked on Batman from 1987-1993 continuously and then occasionally afterwards. He started on Detective comics, then Batman, and did the first few issues of shadow of the Bat.

He drew a more stylized Batman that had all sorts of cape tricks. He drew a very intimidating Batman in shadow/silhouette shots. I feel like a lot of those shots in Batman TAS were inspired by his art.

He co-created the Ventriloquist and Scarface, Zsazz, and other villains in his tenure.
I am biased because the first Batman comic I ever read was drawn by him. (Batman 456). The issue after that marked the debut of Tim Drake as Robin.
He also drew the first 12 issues of the Malibu Ultraverse character Prime
Unfortunately he had a stroke in 2014 and passed away in September 2018.

Here are some samples…

Random, but I mentioned earlier I might get a TV and donate the old one around Christmas. But I’m just now rememebering that this year around Super Bowl time, TVs were surprisingly cheap (though I didn’t jump on any offers). Does that happen every year, or was some spirit in the air this year? I can easily wait until next year if it’s a yearly occurrence.

That is one hell of an advertisement!

Axeman,

The week leading up to Superbowl in late January is almost considered a secondary Black Friday for TV’s. I cant say say how much the savings will be definitively since I have never bought a TV during the superbowl week.

They are kinda so-so.
Yeah they are cheat TVs, but they are bottom of the barrel quality.

Neat. I’ll wait then.

Put the model number of any TV you are at into www.rtings.com They have the most comprehensive tv and monitor reviews I’ve seen.

Why do that? I got Mortal Kombat and played it in the arcades when I was in my early teens. I never ripped off someone’s head with their spines attached or ripped out someones heart. Hell, I even saw Temple of Doom when I was like 9 or 10 (the priest Mola Ram pulling the beating heart from a man)

Is it because this generation (Generation Z) can’t figure out reality or fantasy???

Doing the Lord’s work.

Shit, my 3 year old niece seen Disney Plus once, she already knows how to navigate to find she shows she likes. I let her think all the “good” cartoons is under “Kids” as everything else is boring Adult stuff. Good thing she dont know how to spell yet.

Finishing up at the wife’s annual company outing, then heading fucking home. Been here nearly three hours, and that’s been two and a half hours too long. The place is the fucking same, and I want to murder whoever in her company programmed music for one of the stages here in the park. My grandson could have programmed their music better.

Sex sells, get over it:
