I went NUTS at that line, probably because i’m #2 Ben fan. (#1 being Dark Giygas). Ben is just too awesome, and is one of the show’s only saving graces in my book.
so whats going on with Desmond? i hope they get back to him. i miss Penny, shes my fav by far. i actually almost shed tears on certain parts of the show with the whole Penny finally finding Desmond thing. and another thing, if Ben does kill Penny, i wont watch anymore. well maybe i will but i will be very upset!!!

As far as Jin being integral, I think they’re all but personally think Jin a bit less intergral.
I don’t know if the ghosts are the smoke monster but the smoke monster may very well be how they get around. Frankly, we could have an entire thread dedicated to speculation behind the smoke monster, but what would be the point?
Desmond, Aaron, even Sun and Jin’s child would all stil have to come back as well as Walt in order to make the island happy. Hopefully tonight answers some interesting questions. I’m most curious as to whether Jack, Kate and Hurley join the Hostiles.

Not only that, but I hope we get to see more Miles cause it’s pissing me off that he’s present in the story, but not doing anything. Now that the O. 6 have arrived, He’ll probably get even less spotlight.

Truth be told, I’ve got a few things… wrong with me. I did, however become excited with the prospect that Ben might have murdered Desmond’s entire family to settle a debt. But them reuniting did nothing for me.
Bens like almost always getting hurt by someone. Haha poor guy, I guess his silver tounge evens it out.
So the island time line has to be all messed up now, right?

yeah that was a pretty dirty place to end the show. nothing happens really the entire episode. they fill in some blanks, introduce the new character (tent guy) and proceed to tell us stuff we already know. then just when shit starts happening it ends. lol. so dirty.
remember, whatever happens happened.
Really? They kind of foreshadowed that with Sayid in the promos and all his flashbacks what he wanted to do. Although I guess him actually being able to do it is a bit off. But it isn’t like that was the first time a character was left in that position and suddenly got up.
So is big ben dead too? Die in the past you never existed right? Also that seems to throw the entire loop theory out the window… that is unless he survives.

Yeah, Faraday said not to **** with anything in the past because it would **** up the future(or present). Then he went emo and didn’t care anymore after Charlotte died and said he didn’t care what they did.
Yeah, I’m thinking that Ben will be resurrected, but not by the island, but rather by space-time. What happened happened. Richard and The Others, however, could possibly believe that it was the island’s doing and that Ben is special when in fact there is nothing special about Ben at all, except for the special knowledge he might get from the time-traveling Oceanic 6.
Sayid trying to stop Ben might end up being the thing that makes Ben.
Actually he said the exact opposite of that. “What happened happened” meaning that no matter what they try to do it would be un-done in the future somehow, someway. Trying to change the past is hopeless. But, he did tell Desmond that the rules didn’t apply to him. So there is a possibility that things in the show’s past may be changed. If Penny is hurt, and Desmond catches on to the fact that he is “special”, expect to see some of that. :tup:

Yes, the ending of the last ep doesn’t mess up any time line because they already happened…
It’s possible child Ben is still alive. If this is true, I’m assuming either Jack or Juliette will have to perform the surgery, which Ben will later note when choosing his candidates to bring to the island in the future.
If child Ben is actually dead… hmmm. Take a look at this. Not sure if it applies… could be total bullshit.
