The LOST thread

First off, If you haven’t watch the first 2 season, GTFO! Seriously. The first season was basically the framework for the main characters: their background and their struggles. These characters have history with one another, good and bad.

Alright, here comes the hand-holding…

Sayid met Ben in the “past”, which means that the Ben we know and love had known Sayid from before. I wasn’t trying to explain why he traveled back in time but just explain that Ben used the fact that he had met Sayid in his past, Sayid’s future, to accomplish tasks for him. Ben always knew they would get back to the island because he no doubt met them as a child. Ben hid all of this because that’s what he does.

Sawyer is on a power trip because he’s actually doing something productive. Problem is, Jack’s still got his girl and the girl he has is going to start some shit. Comparing Sawyer to a highschool kid is so perfect for the way he’s acting. Juliet placing him as a janitor because she knew Sawyer is intimidated by him… priceless. However, it’s just going to cause problems in the future. They’re all being childish.

Let’s talk Daniel Faraday. We already know he’s working on the power source that is the orchid. We don’t know in what respect and we don’t know if he’s even a physicist or a janitor. We know he says something to Chang that either intimidated him or impressed him so Chang probably moved him there to help build the Swan. They are, more than likely working on the Swan, having only recently discovered the electromagnetic pocket of energy.

Sun. Who cares about Sun? At all. She’s been a boring, uninteresting eye-sore from day one.

The smoke monster. We have been given clues as to what it is. In fact, this season. When the French that crashed there were taken by it, they were taken to what looked like a temple and then they returned a bit… funny. We can ASSUME the smoke monster is some type of ancient defense against intruders who try to defy the island or certain monuments. This is obviously speculation, but if you watched the show you’d have come to the same conclusion.

I did not create this show. neither did anyone else here. If you are looking for answers, keep watching the show and shut the hell up. This is probably one of the most watchable shows on television, imo. They almost ALWAYS answer questions they pose. The smoke monster and what the island is… these are things that are supposed to be hidden. It’s part of the allure. If you babies don’t like it, don’t watch it and don’t waste our time posting here. If you have questions, thats fine. If you have input, that’s fine too. But don’t go dogging the show because you aren’t paying attention (or in that one idiots case, haven’t watched the first 2 seasons…).

You have the mental capacity of my penis. Only morons insult things they don’t understand due to lacking the comprehension to do so. If you had an ounce of insight, maybe you would find a show with a little depth more appealing. Any moron with eyes can appreciate 24’s…subtleties due to it the fact it’s designed for the unintelligent. Now piss off before you make me angry.

It was a little sad the baby was Ethan, because you knew how he died by the hands of the Oceanic Survivors. Also, Im interested with how they are going to go back in time to find their friends, because if Ben goes back, he’ll disappear bc two of the same person can not exist in the same time period. (Ex. Red haired chick). So I’m guessing they’ll have to try and bring those stuck in 1977, back to the present.

Also, what is up with Jack’s dad, I knew it was him when I saw the dark outline, but now he doesn’t even seem like the ghost he was at first, which would explain why his body disappeared from the casket when the plane crashed.

Christian is somewhat of a mystery at this point. Where does he get his information, I wonder? As far as the people in the past go… I don’t know how they’ll resolve it. But Hurley said it best last night with his “dude, you know the Dharma initiative all get wiped out, right?” comment. I doubt they’ll stay for that bit, but there’s a lot to happen, yet.

LOL oh no I might make you angry?

Maybe if you just answered my fucking question in the first place instead of being lord of the douche bags, I wouldn’t of come off hostile. I said I lost interest in the season because of stupid shit that was going on in it. And everything you explained in your lengthy post I already realized, its just not that interesting aside from Ben’s story.

Please I dont wanna make you angry, I don’t know what I’d do if you started to fling your diapers at me.

24 designed for the uninteligent? LMAO. Now you’re talking like watching a TV show requires intelligence. Laugh out fucking loud. I’m glad that you think following a TV show makes you a smart person.

  1. How about getting that credible source to explain what this season is about then?

  2. First off, I’m not pissy or defensive. I think you’re ridiculously ignorant to talk this much shit about the show, yet still posting in the thread dedicated to it. How about finding a show that appeals to your lack of thought.
Besides, you’re the one cursing and throwing out insults like this is GameFAQs uncensored.
    Second, here’s your quote:

You want the whole survivors of 815 to have their own personal story line and participate in every fucking activity? How would shit get explained, *then? *
That would be the whole “explanation” part. You know, they part you so much disagree with.

Watching a show doesn’t need intelligence but understanding it obviously does. Thank you for proving you’re an idiot.

LOL @ all the scumbag hate. Seriously, this show isn’t really for everyone.

Anyway, I must agree that Sun is pretty useless right now. The only thing that was keeping up interest in her was what happened to Jin and watching her cavort with Widmore. Now both of those things are gone.

Question: haven’t the producers/writers come forward stating that there is no alternate universe shenanigans going on?

Suns interesting because she looks alot like my cousin.

They also said that the show wouldn’t have time travel. But, as it stands there are no alternate universes, just things that have already happened happening when they’re supposed to happen. That’s not another universe or dimension, that’s just time working itself out.

i want to go watch the Sayid/Henry Gale interactions now

Yeah. We start to find out that Ben isn’t just smart, he has knowledge of his own future and that’s just broken. Interestingly enough, I recently rewatched that part of season 2 and if you look on the side of the balloon the actual Henry Gale landed in, there’s a “Widmore Labs” logo. Neat stuff. Anyone that says this show isn’t well thought out is retarded.

Yeah, think you should take a chill pill there bud. I never said anything bad about the show. I was simply telling scumbag that not a whole lot of things ever get answered because he was acting like every thing that has happened has had an answer.

I came here to talk about Suns story and peoples thoughts on why she didn’t go back. Proposed a decent theory and all you have to say is shit? Looks like it’s you that doesn’t want to discuses the show. Just stop replying to the trolls every time they post.

Also assumptions don’t mean shit. I simply said no one knows what the smoke monster is and you go off on me? Of course its a defence mechanism. Ben even said that and he doesn’t know what exactly it is… but that still doesn’t tell us what it is.

Again, lol @ e-thuggin in teh Lost thread on SRK.

…basically.

You don’t like Lost, good for you…GTFO then or watch the first 2 seasons and get back to us.

Go cry for e-attention somewhere else scrub, nobody cares if you’re mad.

First off, I wasn’t referring to you, but to Scumbag. Secondly, everything on the show IS going in a big circle. It’s a fact. Sun didn’t go back with the others because she was never back with the others. The island needed her with Lapeedus and John for whatever reason. Now,I didn’t SAY that because I can’t PROVE that, nor do I feel there’s enough given information to even speculate it publicly. It’s yet to be determined if Johns presence will actually “change” anything. I believe that may be his purpose. But if he doesn’t, how is that a cop out?

If I stopped replying to the trolls’ every post, you wouldn’t be getting a response now.

Dude you seriously have to get your head out of your ass. I can point out at least 3 spots in that post where you where directing it at me. 2 of which you where specifically talking about things I said(monster and sun) third being the use of “babies”. See that “s”? That makes it plural, as in more then one. The only two people you where addressing in your post where me and scumbag.

I also said I had to hand-hold, referring to everyone because for the most part it’s true. Take it personally all you want, I don’t care. I answered your question and even told you why I said what I said. Any technically, not just the ‘s’ in “babies” made it plural. I also had to drop the ‘y’ and add ‘ie’. Tell me when you want me to stop being condescending.

[Edit] and for the record, I repped you for the comments you made before.

Man, Widmore has his hands in everything. The pregnancy test that Sun took on the island was also Widmore brand.

Your first response to my question about Sun was almost as vague and uniforming as you could possibly get. “Because Ben knew Sayid” really doesn’t say anything. In that you are assuming it is a cycle, something I am not yet convinced of.

People who think they get the show and spout “facts” about it are generally not right. Until Ben or someone else says yes it is a cycle I won’t believe it. And if they do say that I think that will be what gets me to stop watching the show.

Widmore use the be the leader of the Others. I’d say the entire infrastructure on the island is there because of him.
